I'm glad AJ apologize for being a distraction but tweet was a little overblown to me. The Media is trying their hardest to bring drama to this team that has been winning for a Calendar Year. Of course AJ is frustrated with the O. A lot of us are. But the reality is everyone's numbers are down. Jalen, AJ, Smitty, Goedert and Saquon. It's a function of a new OC in Kevin P and our Brutal Schedule. Nobody is talking about the Eagles taking on 3 Back To Back Playoff Division Winners including the AFC Champion and a Super Bowl Rematch.

Along with our heated Rival in the first four weeks after coming off a Super Bowl Championship and they are still 4-0. The only other Undefeated team is the Bills and their schedule has not even been as close to as hard as ours. AJ is too good to just sit back when he knows they are better than this. Sure he can be emotional and jump on social media but never once did I take his tweet as wanting a Trade out of Philly. The fact the media turned it into that was wild and driven for media clicks and ratings.

Thursday Morning Eagles-Broncos Predictions Update - 57 hours until Kickoff

7 predictions recorded

Six predictions are for an Eagles win and one is for a Broncos win.  The average predicted score is Eagles 28 Broncos 21.

I believe I got everyone's prediction. If you don't see your name below, I either missed your prediction or you haven't submitted one yet.

As always, please tag your prediction post with @mattwill that way I will be sure to see/record it.  Score predictions can also have an optional "Bonus Pick" tiebreaker prediction.  I will be taking predictions right up until Kickoff.

A list of the 7 predictions is presented below, sorted high to low by Eagles points predicted. The Broncos win predictions are highlighted in yellow.

I know for a fact he, Lane and Kelce filmed a Christmas special with puppets of themselves. Having seen them I wouldn’t be shocked if it was solely to help distinguish him from Lane and Kelce’s puppet loll

I got a laughy face, but I’m serious about the puppets.

While I think it's totally insane that we're still having offense woes when I've watched other teams this season their offenses have really not looked all that much better overall

I guess they had a hard time making a Pacific Islander skin tone puppet.

Blaming the media for AJ's selfish behavior is wild. So is excusing it.

I'm blaming the media for speculating he wanted trade based off a "Bible Quote".

AJ Brown can be a bit of a drama queen and a headcase at times, and the media can also take quotes and try to spin them for clicks and to stir up drama. Both are true.

@Traveler Vic Hey Sisterhood of the Traveling Underpants - when your boyfriend goes to work and you play dress up with his bras and panties, do you have to rub deodorant all over your geesh, grundle, and underboob so he doesn’t suspect you playing Buffalo Bill while he’s away? Shape up quick, or I’ll send @Godfather and @EaglePhan1986 to your trailer with a giant black tarp, handcuffs, and buttless chaps after I make them chug 2 gallons of water.

I actually agree with this though I would replace the part about the schedule with the lack of health on the line. If our O-Line were functioning the way we’ve come to expect, Barkley would be a lot more effective and that would open everything else up on offense.

It’s not the medias fault that he posted a tweet that made it look like he didn’t want to be here. (again)

Glad it’s over for now though. (Again)

It's the media's fault that they interpreted a post about them as a post about the team.

It's not just Philly sports media that sucks...everyone sucks. Like what kind of low life POS do you have to be to even assume this from Flacco's comment?

Good morning.

Since the 2-5 flower-planting phase in 2021, the Eagles are 50-15 in the regular season.

An amazing accomplishment considering their coach and QB both stink roll

I'm not excusing AJ going to social media, he was obviously frustrated which is why he posted something spiritual which was a bible quote. All the media had to do was ask him what it was about which they eventually did yesterday after days of wild speculation. Again I'm glad he apologized because it became a distraction. He's a competitor. I know everyone wants to play better not just AJ. I'm a Win over Stats person. They need to win no matter what. But I understand AJ. Look at the 2nd half of the Rams. We looked great. I also liked the 1st half last week. I know they will get this going.

I'm giving the O-Line pass right now because of Injuries but yes there have been some issues which is why the running game and Saquon hasn't taken off yet.

His post obviously wasn’t about the media and even if it was (it wasn’t) he knows what he’s doing when he posts cryptic stuff. He was in his feelings and wanted attention. (Again)

Hopefully they can move on now. (Again)

He's not calling the plays.

That is true. But, as Agent J once said,

For sure but you can only go so far. The rules are already in place and imho they call plenty of them. They simply missed this one.

Have you ever played? The technique that has always been taught is to tackle with your shoulder and with your head to the side. No one is taught to lead with their head on a tackle. On the classic form tackle you have your head on the side hitting with your shoulder and wrapping with your arms. That is how it has always been taught. Of course some players have gone in with the intent to hit with their head and over the years that behavior has been cracked down on and you see it less and less.

Yep. I did egg chasing for a bit as an amateur and at school. Constantly told to tackle the correct way and not to lead with the head, even in those days.

I've never entirely understood why some players seek to pop the player or launch out of control., other than to lay a marker down. The NFL endlessly drones on about player safety, so tackling standards is the easiest win.

Massive hits have historically been a BIG part of the game so it is rather easy to see why players aim to make those happen.

The rules are already in place. Not really anything more to do there. They could call them tighter but I don't see that being a net positive. There are already so many flags for plays where there is unintentional glancing contact to the head or by the head. Maybe they can come up with a softer helmet that still protects and still looks good without being a weapon at the same time.

Continuously referring to AJ’s post as a "Bible Quote" is as disingenuous as it gets.

He fully admitted yesterday that he did it lashing out in frustration.
