She is by far the most overrated analyst out there. People act like she is this great football mind. But a great football mind wouldn't make such a stupid statement. Clearly wants to to popular narrative that the Eagles are just going to collapse and it is just like 2023. The 2023 and 2024 offenses are completely different in how they operated in just about every way. How does this feel like 2023 again? The 2023 offense picked up where the 2022 offense left off with the exception of they had troublesome turnover habit.

It wasn't until the 49ers completely broke the entire team in the 13th game that everything fell apart and really it was a defense that had completely fallen off a cliff after they panic fired DeSean. You can say can think the Eagles are doomed cost themselves some games due to the Jekyll and Mr. Hyde path the Eagles offense is taking witch each half unless they get it figured out. But it is two completely different situations going on now. The fact that the Eagles have as talented of a young defense as they do along with a great DC in their second year together kills the comparison to 2023.

The only common offense problem between the years was poor blitz outlets but they are already working on that.

They faced 2 of the best REGULAR SEASON teams in games 13 and 14 (Dak is a playoff joke and SF won 2 playoff games due to bad FG kickers on the other side)

Those teams ran over the defense and the offense could not keep up / pressed / made mistakes.

There were no magic split safety looks starting in week 13.

The problem with this 2024 offense is that Kevin Patullo is a fool. He might be the least qualified person in all of professional sports at this point.

He is good at being a friend to Siri. He might be good at fetching coffee or taking notes in meetings but he is 100% outmatched as an OC.

Its not that DCs are beating him in a chess match. Its that he does not know what the horsey does.

Everyone now knows that its bad formation, stupid route combos, and conservative play calling.

They should have been pass first spread from the beginning. I predicted bigger passing numbers from Hurts because I thought Patullo was competent.

This is pretty much Siri's last chance before a full blown player revolt. If Patullo rolls out the same game plan from the last several weeks vs Denver its going to get ugly.

This means that there either is not enough time for him to surgerize it and come back for the season. Or, there is, but the eagles cant be the team they want to be without him while he recovers and rehabs so they are taking the risk to keep him on the field because they feel they need to.

In either scenario, I think that indicates that the eagles should be trading for a high caliber DT if available. We are already experiencing the loss of Carter even though he is on the field. Hes been effective, but not so dominant. It affects the play of the rest of the D line.

Also, he may continue to aggravate this thing until he actually has to miss time, or get surgerized at which point it WILL be too late for him to return this year.

It seems they should be making a move to protect from any of these scenarios.

The base check this year is 13K for a week which seems like a good chunk. However, when you consider taxes, trainers, gym costs and nutrition expenses, it probably doesn't go far. I would assume they are rotated so they can be compensated enough to be able to stay in town in case they are needed.

Geez, $13k a month is more than most 22 year olds. I suspect they can manage.

I was only commenting on what was in her tweet. She was on NFL Live and said the same thing as her tweet mainly focused on the split safety coverage.

I was not commenting on if she was right or wrong about the split safety coverage.

I don't think this year is 2023 all over again either. I didn't like the hire of KP, I didn't want a neophyte play caller with the opportunity for a repeat on the line. I hope they get it together ASAP.

No doubt. Gotta roll with him though because he has established himself enough in this league earn the respect of defensive gameplans. That will ware off in time but if it does I think he is still good enough at his current health to beat 1on 1 blocking. The Eagles need a capable edge rusher more than anything. Jordan Davis has played well at DT. We aren't getting enough from edge rush. I think we give up a 3rd and 4th or 5th for Hendrickson by the tread deadline.

I watched it live today and I actually yelled at the tv in my office, this is not a 2023 issue at all (split safety), we had like 5 problems in '23 and that wasn't one of them, so you are just spouting the same lazy 2023 nonsense.

And I'm a Mina fan. She was doing the lazy 2023 thing. I feel pretty sure about it.
