I think he was probably saving them getting downed inside the 10. It would be nice to see him try to return a punt more often.

His high frequency of fair catches seems to be a conscious game planning strategy/tactic by the coaching staff ... risk management.

Offense needs to get SB involved in the passing game more and make sure he gets the ball in his hands more. Same with Goedert. Although been better lately. Every time they get in the open field good things happen. More RPO's as well, along with a few gadget plays. Need more deception. And imagination. I do like when they went into hurry up. DO IT MORE!! This team is not gonna win with brute strength this year and plow teams with a simple running game. Need more finesse. Also, opposing defense knows what's coming way too often.

They never use the RB in the passing game. They suck at screens too. This has been an issue with them for years. You can keep entire drives alive just by dumping it off to the RB and letting them YAC yourself into manageable distance.

Their inability in screens is a biproduct of how good their O-Line has been. It has beeneasy for the opposing pass rushers to sense when they are getting a "free pass" by their Eagles O-Line counterpart. That is a clear tell that the play call is a screen.

Regarding passes to Saquon, I believe Hurts needs to get the ball out a second or more sooner on those RB passes. What happens now is that Saquon reaches a point where he has to turn and wait for the pass to arrive. It would be much better if the ball arrived to Saquon's hands while he is still in full stride. Thee same earlier release timing by Hurts would have made a huge difference in the comeback routes AJ ran against the Bucs. Throw the ball a second earlier and the Cornerback won't have the time he needs to close the distance between himself and AJ's hands when the ball arrives.

Bottom of that lineup is 3 easy outs

This defense misses Milton Williams. Carter and Williams wreaked havoc in the middle. They were just starting to peak playing together. Ojomo has just been okay. Also, would have been nice to see what Booker could do. Just different this year. What they did to the Chiefs and Mahomey was something to not ever forget. Oy!!!!

Bottom 4. And possibly 6. Still no excuses though, Snell blows. They won 97 games with this lineup this season, figure it out.

Uhhh so is the top of that lineup

Ok. They all suck. You converted me with a good point.

AJ Brown needs to go. I seriously doubt they trade him before the deadline but I would be a little bit surprised at this point if he in the team next season. To say he has become a full blown distraction is an understatement and even more concerning is all of the footage of him not running hard on routes, not even trying to block, etc. The guy is completely checked out and is far more concerned with his own personal stats than winning. I'm frustrated with the offense too and I think he should be more involved but you simply can't have a star player on a team who is borderline quitting on the team. That "effort" on the deep pass from Hurts yesterday was the nail in the coffin for me. They need to bring in some young talent at WR and TE in the draft next year and make Devonta more of a focal point in 2026. In the meantime, win or lose I don't expect this Brown situation to get better and it started last year so nobody should be surprised. Most star WR's simply have a shelf life wherever they go. Tyreek got traded, Diggs is now on his 4th team, Hopkins has been on multiple teams, TO was on several teams, etc etc.

What exactly did Kempski want him to do, call out his disgruntled star WR in the media for dogging it and costing them a TD? Yeah, that would have really helped matters.

The biggest problem is that he's lost a step or two. Started last year. Not the same guy from year 1 or 2. Devonta is the number 1 right now. Besides the cap issues, I'd pull the trigger for sure before he's like Embiid. Broken down headcase and you get nothing. Send him to New England for a nice package.

I don't get the number of people pissed the Eagles didn't run the ball more in the 2nd half. This running game sucks. They haven't remotely come close to sustaining a drive by running the ball in any of the 5 games. They came back vs the Rams by throwing. Their problem isn't that they didn't run. Their problem is they don't do a single thing well on offense besides the tush push. And that has to change and change quickly.

The tush push is so overrated and overhyped. Would be happy if they ditched it. I think Jalen would QB sneak equally effective. He's a powerhouse and should get more credit for it.

They probably wouldn't him any longer. Did you see how good Diggs looked last night, and that's coming off a torn ACL and soon to be 32 years old. You might be right about AJ but I am skeptical especially since he is only 28. I just think he has borderline quit on the team which is a massive problem. If the fans can see it from replays certainly his own teammates are seeing it when they watch the game film. The sooner they move on the better.

I'm not really seeing the separation on the routes like we did before. He's just basically outmuscling defenders in tight coverage. Doesn't seem to have that next gear. Although he looked good on that miss yesterday. But that was due to savvy moves on the route more than the speed, IMO.

Check the dead cap. Ain't happening. They have got to figure it the f' out

Yep, just typical rage bait. These guys will say anything to get people riled up. Nick probably said the best thing he could in that situation.

Josh Sweat, Milton Williams, Nakobe Dean, Thomas Booker, CJGJ, Darius Slay. All of them right now are being missed.

Trading Booker for Bennett is looking like a huge miss at the moment. Thomas Booker was equally effective against the run and the pass in his limited role last year. I'd take his snaps over Byron Young right now. Hell, for all the talk about Byron Young being a nose tackle, the run defense isn't any better or worse with him in the game. It's time to give us some Gabe Hall or Ty Robinson.

Nakobe Dean, if he's healthy, 100% needs to have a role on this defense. He's a a force behind the LOS.

Dude is a tank coming off a hamstring. damn yall are some over reactive beeches

Gonna need a @vikas83 breakdown of AJ’s contract anyway

Jim Nantz is a good announcer, but my goodness, if he said signature win one more freaking time I was ready to lose it. Shut up dude.

Seems it's being more and more entertained so again I'll ask:

What are we realistically getting for AJ Brown and how does it help the team this season?

I posted it last week. Like 43mm in dead money to trade him in the offseason.
