One thing I forgot about the 2023 offense, is that run/pass was often determined by pre-snap box counting. Because of this the defense can manipulate the QB. DEN flashes a heavy box, but bails out of it into zone. You get weird decisions like 1 ‘called’ run in the 2nd half, as the playcalling is actually orchestrated by the defense and what they decide to show pre-snap.
