6 hours ago6 hr Glad Phillies players are calling out the fans as the fault of their losing at home. The home crowds were very pathetic these two games. I thought it was supposed to be this amazing atmosphere tough for other teams?

They have so many officials on field now + replay assist, it should easier for a consensus and then consistency in what they call. Its fair as fans to ask for the officiating to be improved and for some sort of vague consistency to be present. Rather than doing the whole "taunting is bad" for 2 weeks and then forgetting about it.

The change in offensive coordinators was never going to be seamless, no matter who was brought in. They've gone from Steichen to Johnson to Moore to Patullo in 4 consecutive seasons. Even for professionals there is a learning curve. They may want to study how the Lions have been more prolific after Ben Johnson walked out of the building; so far, their transition to a new playcaller has been executed very well. All that is true, but running or passing out of the same formations 85% of the time is pathetic. If the goal, as they say all the time, is to put players in the best situation to be successful, being that predictable is the antithesis of creating opportunities for success
6 hours ago6 hr Not ready to make an official prediction, but this week just feels like it has potential for the wheels to fall off in spectacular fashion.

Yes we won a Super Bowl, but we could be going for 3 straight with a better coach, no doubt about itWith that collection of talent I don't think we need Nick to be an expert at things. Be willing to adjust and hold your coaches accountable. We knew a target is on us after winning the SB and being so dominant doing it, so why take another huge risk and promote within? Scared that Hurts would need familiarity? Hurts did fine with Steichen/Moore in just one season, you know why? Because they were experienced in doing it before. I do think with better execution we will see an improvement on offense, not drastic but better.......I just hope this season doesn't get wasted because of coaching inexperience. This is getting way too close to the putrid offense of 2023. It was such a relief to see Moore/Fangio have an impact on 2025 because of their experience of calling plays - I was never of fan of promoting Patullo just because I don't think this team is setup for an "experiment". The first couple of games I was patient, but Patullo has been here since 2021......he didn't just walk into this organization this summer.

All good with the ball in their hands. One of the biggest issues I have with this passing game is that none of the passes seem to be built for RAC. I've yet to see Goedert outrun anyone on the play action flat pass they call 5 times a game. Every pass to a WR seems to be an out or a comeback so they either have their back to the end zone or they are being thrown with momentum going out of bounds.
6 hours ago6 hr This week the Eagles either blow:A) Out their knees on that unforgiving turf, Michael Irvin style, flailing into the night and telling us that this season is over.OrB) Out the Giants as they should. Playing angrily and aggressively after their first loss. Kicking them around like a red headed stepchild. No in between here. I do believe it will be option B. Expect big games from Ex- Jints Barkley and Ojulari.Need to bring Boston Scott out of retirement for this one....

This is not new....the next step is for the Phillies to stage a comeback and bring back a whiff of hope (like they did last night) only to be ultimately the failures that they are...the Sixers did it for many years as well. I like the Phillies but I no longer have the same level of emotional investment that I once had.
5 hours ago5 hr @mattwill Eagles 27, Giants 14Giants just aren't good, but it's a divisional game and the Eagles seldom wallop anyone on the scoreboard. Bonus -- Eagles get 2+ INT's

This year is still very similar in my opinion, I understand the angst among the fan base though because PHI was dominating everyone they played and looked great doing it over the last 20+ games. This year they have started more slowly and do not appear as dominant, it was the same last year guys.Last week I predicted PHI would find their stride and play their best game of the young season and I was wrong. It will turn around at some point, I think most on here have already mentioned the reasons for the slow start so I am not going to echo what you folks already know.Continue to get healthy, execute defensively, and win games, does not matter how pretty...just win. When things do click and everyone on O is healthy watch out, because the D is much improved over last year. EDIT - minus the pass rush

People forget the Browns game was tight, the Jags game came down to the end and we almost lost to the Panthers. Even in the playoffs, the offense wasn't great against GB or LAR (Hurts got injured against the Rams). The primary issue this year is the running game falling off a cliff - fix that, and we are actually better right now.
