Here's an idea. Now stay with me. Let's get enough hits in this inning to score a run or two. I know. I'm a damn baseball genius.

That could be big.

Suck it Kershaw.

Game 4 seems to be on the schedule.

And the fake Dodgers' fans leave.

Ya we can lose 3-1 now…

Glad we didn’t have to burn Duran 2 innings

Easy now. The beauty of baseball is that there is no clock... well, there didn't used to be.

‘It’s tough to watch Kershaw like this’….like this isn’t his normal post season self.

Another dumb base running move by Harper. This time it didn’t work.

Aw poor Kershaw let’s keep saying how bad we feel

The Peyton Manning of the MLB. Then again he already has 2 rings…

TWSS

welp, I called a multi HR game for Schwarber and Harper over the next 2 games. Half way there.

LETZ GO WALKER

Nothing is ever easy with this team.

Tomorrow is going to be a whole different state of sports mental health

I hope it’s not a gentleman’s sweep, but there is something weird with the Phillies at home in the playoffs. I believe they’ve lost 5 of 6 or 6 of the last 7 at home. Maybe they just needed to get away to get back into a rhythm. The Bank is a great playoff vibe so it doesn’t make sense. Not sure if it’s extra pressure, but it’s going to be really interesting if they can somehow win tomorrow and what happens if/when they come back home.

I hope they win tomorrow. But there are a couple things that are going on right now with dodgers and how they are pitching the Phillies. The Dodgers bullpen is making the Phillies try to chase and nibbling at the corners (not the piggyback starters (sans kershaw he is just done so he tries to get everyone to chase) but their actual BP). But if you look at their starters (outside of snell in the 6th inning last night when losing his control), they’re leaving stuff in the zone frequently and they have basically been saying try to hit our stuff. Yamamoto did much of the night. And the Phillies finally connected this series. Which might be the fact some of the guys are getting themselves into a rhythm again after a week and a half of meaningless games then a week off.

Particularly Turner. I said this yesterday over on the Phillies thread, the one guy i was not mad at atop of the lineup for struggling was Turner because they had given him 2 at bats in the span of 30 days due to his injury. And he was healthy the last 5 games of the regular season where they said he could’ve hit but they decided not too. That’s ridiculous to ask him to come in there and just look like midseason form after that type of layoff and the rotation the dodgers have. You could see at the end of game 2, he began seeing the ball better. Which he carried it over tonight outside of the bunt attempt.

Am I the only one who thinks the play by play guy has been almost openly rooting for the Dodgers the entire series. He literally said he felt sorry for Clayton Kershaw multiple times and even said "he deserved better." Deserved better?? He's a pro athlete who didn't perform well in a game and deserves nothing other than the opportunity he had to keep the Dodgers in the game.

What’s funny is it’s Brian Anderson who’s a brewers commentator normally. His call of ohtani’s flyball was like he crushed it and he didn’t. and JT’s homer was not very much excitement behind it

I legit thought it was the Dodgers home feed. I figured, stupidly, well, I'm in LA I'm getting a local feed (duh F?). Anyway, yes, the bias was extraordinary. I don't care but still.

On the Phillies, I am expecting nothing but Phillies postseason business as usual despite winning tonight, but at least they didn't get swept like they did last postseason.
