I know this will never happen... but this game between Texas A&M and Miami should shut up all the people complaining about Tulane and James Madison being in the playoff. Sure, they aren't sexy teams, but this game between Texas A&M and Miami has not been a good game, it is a CLOSE game, but its a game with a TON of mishaps and unforced errors. A 3-3 game with this many errors from both sides doesn't scream 'playoff' to me. And these teams earned their spot in the playoff over the ones that people are whining about being on the outside looking in... Those teams that didn't get in... here's some free advice: Do better and EARN your spot. JMU and Tulane did just that. Let them sit at the table like they earned.

And I'll remind the NCAA, its not the favorites going deep into the NCAA basketball tournament and getting into the Final Four that draws the most eyes... its the Cinderella teams that grabs the attention of more casual fans. And you can't have a Cinderella story if she isn't invited to the ball. They have to get in to get a chance at writing that story. But that's what draws eyeballs. Seeing UGA and Alabama and Ohio State in the CFP year after year after year 🥱... boring. That's not entertaining to the casual fan. But, let JMU win a game and advance to the field of 8... people will be talking about it and tuning in to see them in the next matchup. That's human nature.

JMU and Tulane are going to get blown out and had that played Miami or Texas A&M they would’ve gotten blown out as well. They don’t belong.

At least I'm not missing a real college football playoff game. Tulane doesn't belong. Neither does JMU

Neither did #8 seed Villanova in 1985. And yet, they fought their way to get there... and then they did the impossible and became the lowest seed to ever win the NCAA tournament.

Like I said, you can't have the Cinderella story if she's not at the ball. Midnight might come tonight for both of them... or they might shock the world tonight and keep the dream alive.
