That little C Sainristil was the one who escalated the whole thing and he got nothing out of it - at least not in game. He might have gotten fined after - not sure

This season has been unpredictable. Some surprising teams at the top, some teams fell off, and there's not really been true elite teams. The playoffs are mostly open for most teams to have a real chance, anything can happen with the different matchups.

It's the perfect year for the Eagles with their roster to run the table and repeat as champions. They are 100% capable they just have to get out of their own way. They are the reason they aren't the #1 seed, not any other team. We have to hope they go into the playoffs focused and hungry. They can beat anybody if they just don't shoot themselves in the foot.

Would be nice if Carter could get that same respect on the field and actually get a holding call for a change.

@mattwill

Eagles 24, Bills 21

Both teams can improve their current playoff seeding so both teams will play their starters. Eagles can get #2 if CHI loses to both SF and DET, which is perhaps just as probable as possible. BUF needs NE to lose in Week 18 against MIA, because they certainly won’t lose to the Jets this week.

Bonus — Eagles gamble on fourth down at least twice from inside the Bills’ 35-yard line.

@e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! I didn't know that cool scenario for us to get 1st seed was removed this weekend

I believe it’s cause the niners won last night

They had a tough schedule this year, everyone had them circled as their regular season Super Bowl, didn't have back to back home games once, played on short weeks five times, had all of the AJ drama that could have torpedoed the season, a beat up offensive line that has regressed since last year, and they still have a chance for 11/12 wins. They did what they were supposed to do the past two weeks against bad teams so it's hard to take much from those games, but the offense really has been improving since the Chargers game.

If Lurie goes to a dome my enthusiasm will degrade. There are already several things that are just not good going on in today's NFL.

He will if he can

LOL @ Cam Jurgens making the probowl.

Jalen Carter over Davis is crazy too. Carter has really not done much all year.

Jurgens should be benched no clue how he is on a pro bowl, complete joke. Carter too? Over Davis? Just absurd.

Did anyone here vote for players in the Pro Bowl?

Sports just keeps getting worse and worse thanks to greed. Arrowhead is a historic stadium and they're gonna leave it for what will absolutely be some lame dome in the hopes they can get one Super Bowl there.

It's ridiculous and a racket. This is from the Wikipedia article on the stadium:

On August 15, 2007, the Chiefs announced final plans for the renovated Arrowhead Stadium, which would cost $375 million. The cost to the city was reduced by $50 million thanks to an additional payment by the Hunt family, which originally had intended to donate $75 million. The renovated stadium features the Chiefs Hall of Honor, a tribute to Lamar Hunt, and "horizon level" seating in which luxury suite owners sit outdoors.[41] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrowhead_Stadium

So the city paid $325,000,000 or roughly $13.5 million a year through 2031. They estimate tax revenue of $28 million a year from the stadium. I think those revenue figures are kind of empty because the same tax payers that paid the $325 million dollar for the renovation are now paying the taxes and revenue generated by the stadium. The Chiefs are generating $90 million in revenue from games. The new stadium is $7 billion dollars and 70% is funded by taxpayers in Kansas.

Its more likely wind up playing Seattle or niners. If the niners win out, rams win out and Seattle goes 1-1/0-2 (if niners win out then Seattle loses at least one as play niners week 18) then the 6 seed is Seattle. If rams win out, Seattle wins out and niners go 1-1/0-2 then niners are 6 seed. The way we’d face the rams is: if the rams lose to AZ or at Atlanta and SF has same record after losing one of their last 2 games; rams lose their last 2 games with GB doesn’t win out (this relies on the fact the eagles stay at the 3 seed and don’t move up to the 2 which bears would have to lose last 2 games and we win out— that scenario happens, rams lose out an packers win out then rams are the 7 seed as packers would be 11-5-1 and rams 11-6). If we lose out, Carolina wins out and we are the 4 seed then if rams win out, Seattle goes 1-1/0-2, niners win out we play the rams (believe we’d be the 4 as eagles would have the same conference record of 8-4 an run goes to common opponents. Eagles/panthers both beat rams, tampa, GB. But eagles 1-1 vs. Dallas and panthers 1-0 (both would also have lost to Buffalo)

I believe if Seattle loses their last 2 and rams lose to cardinals then both are 12-5 with 3-3 division record and 7-5 conference so goes by common opponent. It comes down to rams beat Tampa and Seattle lost (as both would’ve lost to Carolina) so rams 5 and Seattle 6 (if stay at 3 seed then Seattle). If Seattle loses last two and rams lose to falcons but beat cardinals then they are 5 seed as both are 12-5 but rams 4-2 in the division and Seattle would be 3-3

I don't think it matters. The 2 seed would be good but it means the Bears have to lose twice.

Kansas City being in Missouri is a Missouri issue. It's just weird. Could you imagine Texas City, Arkansas? No! They decided it should give acknowledgement to both states and is instead called "Texarkana"... with two separate municipalities, one each in TX and AR, forming a single metropolitan area.

But Kansas City Missouri was incorporated before the state of Kansas joined the Union. Plus, TexarkANA includes Louisiana for some reason.

Steen doesn't get involved in media much and I think a lot of fans aren't exposed to him. I think this bumps him up a few notches in peoples perception of him.

Agreed that Jurgens is not worthy.

That said, without looking, can you name off the top of your head 4 other Centers in the NFC that are?

I retweeted Grant Calcaterra as a joke

I think the only true All-Pro on the team this year is Mitchell. I could see a case being made for Coop, maybe Davis.

It’s bad the amount of money we’re spending on offense and no one is in the discussion. I’m sure Mailata will get some votes though

That's for Bengals fans.

I wonder how pages we can get this thread to??

🦅🏈

@mattwill

Eagles 24

Bills 17

Bonus: Barkley over 100 yards again

I think the conditions will keep the scoring down and impact the passing game, leading everyone to have a meltdown about Hurts again.

Agreed. Jurgens is hurt, has been all season, and when he does play, he gets his arse handed to him. I'd play Toth at C for the next 2 games.

Carter and Jurgens both don’t belong in the pro bowl. It’s like not even close.

The biggest knock on Coop is his position. But for what he does, he’s as all pro as it gets. Mitchell is a true all pro. Baun…I do think he belongs for the pro bowl designation. Davis too,

Hurts is 15 rushing yards away from entering the franchise's all-time top ten.

He's six rushing TDs behind Van Buren for the franchise lead.

There is an all-pro specifically for slot corner, so I think he makes it as 1st or 2nd team.

Jordan Davis 100% should be at least 2nd team all pro. I'd think Baun has a case as well. Davis, Baun, Q and Coop are the 4 with a good chance.
