Eagles have the best D on completion percentage allowed. Run D not as good, but for sure some of that is due to Vic's scheme.

From some online article yesday (which now, I cannot find lol), which posited that SF's strength on O has been their passing game...

The 49ers strength this year as an offense has been their passing game, led by Brock Purdy. Purdy vs. Eagles secondary will be a fun matchup. Heading into week 18 (Eagles played their backups) the Eagles held opponents to the lowest completion percentage in the NFL (56.5%.)

The Eagles allowed only 13 passing touchdowns, which was fewest in the NFL.

He was at the top of my list the minute he was fired. Monken and Kingsbury were 2a and 2b. Kafla and McCown as 3a and 3b. Not sure about any other candidates after that, but maybe Daboll as a last resort. Can't be much worse than what we're seeing now.

Kingsbury intrigues me. Would not mind seeing him as our OC. I think he'll be hired fairly quickly though.

Kingsbury apparently doesn’t run a lot of motion, abandons the run quite easily, and wanted Stoutland fired last year and to pick his own OL coach. So tread carefully when it comes to him. He’s not exactly the innovative guy a lot think he is. Probably better than what we have but I’d actually prefer Daboll over him.
