Ignorant people have this dream that Aikman was this great passer in a Norv Turner / Coryell timing system.

He threw up some deep go balls to Harper.

He hit Irvin 8-15 yards downfield after Irvin shoved the DB out of the way.

He hit open Novacek on the seam or sat down in a zone like Kelce.

He handed off to Emmitt 25+ times a game.

GTFO

Dude had 165 TDs to 141 picks.

He topped 19 TD passes once

He averaged 17 TDs to 14 1/2 picks per 17 games.

He added nothing in the run game.

He sits in judgement of real QBs every week. Its seriously funny.

He's consulting on a GM pick now! 🤡

Aikman has 174 career TDs and played until he was 34.

Hurts has 173 at age 27.

These comparisons to hold Hurts up to do not exist.

Stafford is a junk baller. He throws the ball up to WR1 and WR2 this year because he has Adams.

He's not throwing blind timing passes all over the field. he sees open dude and throws it or he 5050s to WR god Puka.

After 2021 god Kupp and career god Megatron.

He is 4 games over .500 because he is not special.

Brady was a demigod. Manning eventually became a master technician around age 28 or so. He still struggled in the playoffs.

Rodgers played stats ball where he threw the ball away or took sacks instead of picks. Passer rating over wins.

He peaked in the 2010 playoffs through the 2011 regular season. He is 7-9 in the playoffs from 2011 to present. People call him a top 5 QB.

You think Philip Rivers was a master technician?

Did he look like one this year?

He had 2 seasons of 10+ wins in his last 11 years.

He averaged 14.7 picks a year and led the league in picks twice.

Any fool can pretend that there is this QB greatness standard above Hurts and then pretend that 40 other QBs hit that standard including 10 playing now.

Its 100% BS.

Wow.  You are comparing Hurts’ stats to a QB who peaked in 1993.  In football years, that’s like comparing Bryce Harper to Ty Cobb.

You keep Sirianni but Patullo needs to be gone by noon followed by a news of an interview scheduled with McDaniels by 6 pm tomorrow.

No reason to keep Siri. We make another run the OC will be gone again and we’ll be stuck with Siri for another wasted year

I'm starting to think the whole "most talented roster in football" thing is a bit exaggerated. The O-line certainly didn't play like that and it affected the run game. We had other weaknesses on the roster as well. Pass rush wasn't as good. Got better after getting Phillips.

Not saying we dont have talented players. Of course we do but its just that some act like top to bottom there are no weaknesses, which is far from reality.

I’d argue this, go look at the San Francisco 49ers roster and who they had today. That game was a mismatch in terms of who was available. Eagles had 20 of 22 starters out there. Niners had no linebackers, down bosa, down kittle, down multiple DL, banged up secondary and down starting WR.

I’m not saying the Eagles talent was playing to its level, but I have a hard time believing that 20 out of 22 starters for the Eagles being out there and the fact that the Niners we were having backups to backup players playing you couldn’t beat that team based on talent

Absolutely. If we played with backup LBs, Shanahan would have had them in hell. We make their lives easier instead.

Well it's certainly quite the irony that you, of all people, are defending the type of outburts that you would refer to as childish and overly emotional if they were coming from anybody else.

Herbert choking in the playoffs, can set your clock by it.

Whaddya know!? Its survivable!

Best pass of the day came from their WR of all people. 32 played undisciplined ball today. Uncharacteristic big plays given up by a depleted offense. Wild

Big difference having a QB who climbs the pocket to buy time vs a QB who bails right every time and would never see that route as he runs away from it to the sideline only to throw the ball out of bounds. QB skills... Hurts lacks them.

Carson Wentz had horrible pocket presence. Hurts isnt good either. He doesn't like to stay in the pocket and throw from there.

Milton earning that paycheck!

Milton Williams buries Herbert to end the game

Herbert has been getting destroyed all night. He should sue the Chargers org for assault charges with that O line.

Vrabel tried to kiss Williams on the helmet and he got a helmet to the face when Williams moved towards him at the same time.

Well it’s not surprising.

The offense established itself and its identity this year: they are bad and they are dead on arrival in the second half when they get conservative with a lead. They could be playing a top 3 defense or a bottom 3 defense (so long as it’s not a team competing for draft position). They are not going to score many points. All those SF defensive injuries didn’t even matter. Against professionals that collect paychecks, our offense can’t sustain drives and score points.

And on defense? Well, they picked a bad time to have a bad game. They had a few bad games this year and this just happened to be one of them. Not much else to it there, IMO.

The defense always had zero margin for error because the offense proved it was unquestionably incapable of picking up the slack. Eventually, the defense would sputter and it’d be game, season over. Sadly, it happened in the first playoff game. Could have just as easily been NFCCG or so, but it was coming.

Get Todd Monken. And if hes successful he and Fangio can retire here :)

Where was the slant pass to AJ this afternoon? He used to run that with a high percentage of success. I may have missed it, but did not notice that play was called at all.

Berkeley gone over 100 yards, that is good. But no long runs like last season. Bigsby did well but was not used after a few runs. Wonder what may be possible if they keep him rushing up the middle more. At least he could give Barkeley some breathers, and force the defense to adjust.

I wouldn’t say 0%. I think the only way he gets fired is if the Eagles go to him and say we want you to get a new offensive coordinator. We don’t think patullo is any good, he’s gone and we’re gonna go get you one. If sirianni says no, I’m not going to fire him and we can fix this. Then I think there’s a chance he gets fired. Otherwise I don’t think he gets fired.

Just my opinion, there’s no scenario they fire him one year after winning the SB, with his record, after just giving him an extension and making the playoffs every year in his career. Lurie cares way too much about imaging to ever make that drastic of a move. They would try to make it work on their terms and leave it up to Nick for at least one year.

Dude is so elite. He is one of the pure throw the football at target robots guys. He is truly special.

I dont want a first round OL. But we may be in Ioane territory and that might be a more immediate need than Tackle. Because if Lane retires, we have a starting quality option on the roster who we just used for half the year.

If Dickerson can not recover, we have nothing at Guard.

Ioane is a plug and play possible Dickerson level OG. Ioane and Becton? We are in business.

Milton Williams. Oooof! Had flashbacks tonight with his game. Feels like a long time ago when he and Carter wreaked havoc in a Superbowl vs the Chiefs. It was a nice run here folks. Feels like Howie is gonna have to have his best offseason yet. Think he had a potential dynasty on his hands. And now a bunch of questions marks. This loss and season stings. We have overestimated a lot here apparently.

I am so (angry or frustrated) that they never use AJ on short passes where he can outrun or run over dudes.

Its always DeVonta.

Authentic leadership is a genuine and purposeful style of leadership that produces effective results when it is done correctly. People do follow and respect authentic leaders when they are consistent, calm in chaos and meet people at their level to build relationships. But....it requires a high level of emotional intelligence. Reacting and blowing up is never a good quality....Sirianni is not capable of controlling his emotions and it is clear that he triggers Brown among others.

But this goes back to what I said for a while. they are too reliant on the fact that their talent is better than your team‘s talent. Believing at some point it’ll overwhelm the other team. Even 2024 we complained about this. it’s why the pass offense was inconsistent and we had close games against Carolina, jags and browns. Even with Kellen Moore, we talked about it. So it’s a problem that’s been here

Happens when you lose both tackles…

BS. He alligator armed the first one because the safety was coming over to hit him. The second one hit him in both of his hands. AJ is a loser who caused problems all year and then quit on his team and came up small when it mattered most but dumb fans like you will still make excuses for him.

You must of been watching a different game than me.

The first one Aj had to reach way down below his knees because the ball took a dive. If anything he could of tried to dive but when have you ever seen aj lay out for a pass? Thats not his game. Youre feelings for AJ are clearly skewing your perspective.

Like I said the second one was off his fingertips, if he isnt interfered with its a td.

It was a blatant PI, youre reaction to that play is as bad as Siris who instead of yelling at the tefs for an obvious missed PI decided to run down the field to yell at his player, I wish Siri hdd that same energy on that play towards the refs as he did AJ.

Siri is a clown. Want to see a real coach that his players respect, look at vrabel right now.

AJ is a super bowl winner, he said exactly what all of us were thinking this year and this loss proved just what a 💩 show it was.

Loser eagles fans whine for years that they dont have any WRs then when they get one they want to run him out of town after his idiot coach and OC set him up to fail.

Thanks for the super bowl AJ, sorry the eagles failed you, hope your knee gets better and good luck on your new team.
