He did an incredible job building the most talented roster in the NFL over a 3 year span, one that won a SB and went to 2.But they are so hamstrung by their financial commitments to an ineffective, declining offense that it will lead to the premature disbanding of this defense and precludes them from tweaking the offense. They are STUCK with this exact roster minus defensive losses for next year. It's not like there's some big FA signing they can make to fix the offense. They will probably lose Goedert on offense too. I think they will try to keep either Reed or Phillips on defense. My guess is they will invest heavily in the offense in the draft.

First, we just gave him an extension, so that's a lot of money. Second, and more importantly, if we fire a HC who has made the playoffs every year, been to 2 Super Bowls and won one, it likely hurts our ability to hire a good replacement -- if that's not enough to stay employed, then who wants that pressure.I disagree that it hurts us. Everyone could see the mess on offense and he never stepped in to do anything during the season. He's complicit

Harbaugh got fired after 18 years. I understand the deep and sincere frustration at yesterday because it was not good enough. But that season wasn't ARs last or Chip Kelly's last - disappointing but nowhere near a sackable thing.Time for evolution, not revolution.TBF, I think GB knows they made a mistake with the Love extension. I think those 2 are gonna ride it out at least till Love is dump able. Green Bay is kind of like Pitt (less extreme), they don’t fire to fire.

And they said AJ Brown is the guy who concerns them most when they game plan of anyone on that offense.

He came from the giants and i bet the coaches said he was that and he got to see it up close

4 hours ago4 hr I’d like loeffler’s odds if they just fired Patullo and gave him the reigns halfway through the season and seen if we had some growth. Unfortunately eagles were never doing that and he doesn’t have nfl play calling experience you’d want after the Brian Johnson and patullo disasters

If Harbaugh is interested though, then he's toastamundo.I don’t want Harbaugh, I want the next best offensive coach so we don’t have to play musical chairs with the OCs
