Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

Dick Vermeil has actually been an offensive consultant for Kevin and Nick this year. The problem is they have a hard time understanding him in between the sobs.

Deniz on PHLY eviscerated the Eagles offense today.

I think it's important to understand that a coaching staff is like a dictatorship. They're responsible for implementing a directive and responsible for it's success. They don't open it up to discussion. It's their way or the highway. Players are conditioned from an early age to not question the coaches and follow the game plan. Sure, they will take it under advisement, if you're lucky, but many don't.

Unfortunately, this dictatorship is failing to get the job done. Hence, you have a player letting everyone on the outside know that it's not fixable.

This is 100% and unequivocally false for a good coaching staff…

A good leader constantly seeks input and ways to better themselves and the group, while putting their subordinates in the best position to succeed.

It’s Dallas week and Kelly Green week….I’m officially done talking about all the stupidity!

This is absurd…the Eagles lost a top 5 LT of all time in 17 and won a SB.

Agreed. But the QB back then was not going to be denied. Throwing TD's, catching TD's, while beating the GOAT having his greatest Super Bowl performance of all time.

Good point. The current qb1 has never had a great superbowl performance

My lady partner attended a gratitude seminar and it has been a frequent topic of conversation lately. So...

I am grateful that we have:

  • Competent ownership. Lurie is focused on winning. Willing to spend and has embraced the community.

  • A great GM and front office. His strengths, cap management and deal making, have become legendary.

  • A coach that can coach in Philly. It's a difficult gig. Not just the press and fans, but also working within the ownership and management here. He isn't perfect, but IMO he is perfect for here.

  • Fangio and Stoutland.

  • The best roster in the league. We had 9 players in the NFL top 100.

  • A forum such as this to enjoy the experience within a community of passionate fans.

  • The ignore option.

  • Two Lombardis in the trophy case.

But apparently he will not be able to do it without Lane Johnson per the above. Also, when the other QB had a huge game, Hurts lost. When the other QB laid an egg, Hurts won.

Foles beat the GOAT, who had his best passing performance in a Super Bowl that day.

I mean, if you want to play this game, then Foles played a defense that benched their best CB for reasons that remain a mystery so he got to pick on Eric Rowe all night.

Nick and Jalen were both brilliant in all 3 Super Bowls.

No one's taking anything away from Foles like you are trying to do with Hurts. A huge game? What were his stats that day? That was Andy Reid scheming players WIDE open and Gannon shitting the bed. Mahomes said himself Hurts should have been superbowl mvp even in the loss. But go on

Eagles 27, Turds 23

I'd feel better if this was a prime-time game; DAL is more comfortable in this time slot. Just the same, I think the Eagles are the better team.

Bonus -- Jalen Carter with a forced fumble or fumble recovery turnover

Much better from AJ. Those are good vibes and I agree, I do think they're close.

Cutting out presnap penalties would be a good start, the Eagles are 18th in the NFL in that category.

And they say Nakobe has good instincts, oof… watch your wallet👀

Weird that Jurgens is questionable with concussion. Players are usually cleared or they aren't. And if they are, they're good to go. Maybe they are contemplating giving that knee another week of rest?
