Oh ok, so now that you've clarified, would you say HE was right or wrong when he said no players were excited to be Eagles because they were wanted to play with Hurts?

While I do think it has a lot to do with the entire package of the organization, as I did state, I would disagree with him.

Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

Wait so we’re all actually agreeing that Patullo is a pathetic nothing as an NFL OC? I thought all we needed was 4 All Pros on the OL to have a functional NFL offense?

Brian Johhson was a better OC than Patullo, he just unfortunately had Desai as the DC which made the situation worse. He had nothing to learn on and help him out with the growing pains.

Patullo has the luxury of Fangio, which keeps them in any game no matter how bad the offense is. I get the feeling they are hoping KP gets better and learns more, but with all the recent ex-players/coaches calling out the predictability and simplicity of the offense, something needs to happen. At this point in the season, I don't know what you can realistically do. It wouldn't be a great look with Lurie forcing Nick to make a change when they are 8-2 and 22-5 since last season. They are still in the running for the #1 seed. I definitely don't want Sirianni taking more control of the offense. You just got to hope KP adapts and improves, I guess.

To me, this is 90% coaching malpractice and 10% players dogging it because the offense is crap.

I could be wrong but didn't Hurts have his most turnovers under Johnson?

Currently he's the offensive pass game coordinator for Washington. Not sure exactly what he does but I'd imagine most of the offense is run by Kliff Kingsbury.

Not sure its fair to say Johnson is a better OC than Patullo at this point.

Fair enough

Pick 6 by New England. Flacco telegraphed that one.

Hey look a bunch scored a former Eagle.

Lions' offense getting shut down by the Giants is making last week's defensive effort look less impressive.

57 degrees with 5 to 10 mph winds. How can anyone expect ELITE Mahomes (55.6 rating) to score more than 6 points in a half in those conditions?

I mean Daniel Jones is 10-11 for 94 yards 2 TDs and a 141.9 rating in the same conditions but agenda beats reality every day.

Nevermind, I forgot that Mahomes both has every good weapon wanting to play with him and ALSO does not have enough weapons.

As bad as the defense was to close out 2023, the offense was only averaging 20pts per game during the post-SF stretch with a lot more OL continuity than we’ve seen this season.

Giants offense lighting up the "vaunted” Lions defense. If you wanna argue the Eagles offense is fine because they’re avoiding turnovers, I’ll disagree, but at least that argument has some merit. But the "The Eagles we’re going up against tough defenses” arguments I saw in here this week… please. We all know that’s not why the offense has beeen struggling, let’s not pretend here.

Lions' window might have closed on them last year. They just aren't good enough.

dumb and dumber

Johnson's problem was that it was a basic offense and not very inventive.

He also refused to acknowledge that blitzing happens and had no plan for it.

He was way better than Patullo but still bad.

He was bad in a we can do much better way.

Patullo is bad as in maybe Hackett is better than him way.

I hate Kotite maybe more than anyone who ever was associated with the Eagles.

I would drive 83 year old Kotite to the facility if he would replace Patullo.

Can't have the #4 WR out producing the #1.

KP needs time to learn how to use WRs.

I've been saying since last year what's the point of having 2 top WRs if you dont use them. The way the offense is, I would be good with Smith, Dotson and Metchie.

What i still don't understand is why cant Hurts change things? We all blame KP for his play calling and sure it deserves the blame. Who ultimately decides who gets targets is the QB. Why cant Hurts change routes and tell or signal to AJ to run a crossing route or a slant? Patullo may call a play but ultimately the QB can adjust and change things if he sees something different from the defense.

Giants hung 34 on us and 32 on the Broncos too. For whatever reason, their offense can string drives together and catch defenses off guard.

You can be extremely risk averse and still look like a competent NFL offense. Moore did that last year, Patullo hasn’t this year. You can say apples to oranges because of the OL, but I say BS that’s part of the Fing gig. You’re not getting perfect injury luck every year.

I’d add it’s only a matter of time til giants defense implodes. Like just now

Vikings hit 59 yard fg to end half 7-6 GB

This one is easy. Hurts has 40 seconds in between plays. Way less with substitutions, No QB can do all of that outside of 2 minute drill.

I think maybe full time 2 minute drill would be better.

Patullo works for the other team. He's like a spy.

Psst, "Whether we run or pass, you can just run over Calcaterra"

Gainwell looks good for the Steelers

steelers 56 yard gainwell fake tush push

For all the negativity surrounding the Tush push and it being banned, there sure seems to be alot of teams running it and running variations off it.

@mattwill

Eagles 27

Dallas 21

Dak throws 2 picks

Watching other teams try things on offense while we don't is maddening.

Here's another example that you'll attempt to disqualify as well...

Barkley is the type that will praise anyone though
