Full focus.Arguably with wins over the Packers and Lions security is well within reach. McKee showed what he could do against the Cowboys last year. A repeat performance is not out of the question. A little help from the Patriots and the Niners would be helpful. Asking the Cardinals to beat the Seahawks would appear to be a bridge too far though. Their loss will possibly come to the Rams when they play the following week, while the Bucs visit the Bills. With all the above said, you are right, full focus on their own game and let the chips fall where they may in the other games.
Yesterday at 10:13 AM1 day What a crazy year so far. Chiefs at 5-4 are Super Bowl champion favorites in ESPN odds and most others I've seen that list odds.

They were at 8.5 before the Bills loss. ESPN clearly sees them as a sleeping lion.Massey Peabody also has them as #1, but their margin over #2 Detroit is modestJeff Sagarin also has them as #1, but again the lead is narrow.

What team in the AFC has actually gotten over that hurdle in the last 9 years? The Bengals and Patriots are the only ones I can recall, and the Bengals are dead in the water, while the Patriots are a completely different team than what they were.

I remember there was another episode, where everybody jumped ship because the Eagles switched to a crappy platform but then switched back iirc.Yeah, that was sometime around 2009 or 2010. Prior to that, all nfl team sites were whatever the teams wanted them to be. Then the NFL stepped in and made them uniform as you saw today. Then they got the bright idea to do the same for team message boards. Not only would that platform would be uniform, it would run on the same DB. That means you would have the same log in here as you would on the other 31 teams. We were one of the very first to make the switch so good for me, bad for anyone that goes by Paco on another team board. It also got rid of the report feature and used an upvote down vote system instead of reporting. They kept using the word "crowdsource” to defend that decision. Problem is these boards are tribal in nature and it became very easy for cliques to gang up on people. Oh, and it was ugly as hell. A few days in, Ed, myself, PFFB and a few others got on a call with Edwin, a few eagles tech folks including (I think) one of the dudes from the NFL that was pushing this and we tore into all the points above and more. Give the eagles credit because they heard us, backed us and made the switch back shortly after. NFL seemed to drop the idea too because no one, to my knowledge, made the switch. (I was cool with the Mods on the Denver site and gave them a heads up. Apparently they were never approached and kept their board for years to come.)

They covered all the hosting, upgrades etc with an Eagles employee who oversaw it all and picked some members from the community to be moderators. Being an official NFL website, there was a lot more traffic, both genuine members and trolls. There used to be a decent back and forth trash talk in the Around the NFL section with other NFCE fans. Anyway, back in 2016? the NFL started to redesign all team websites to basically be uniform and they shut down the original EMB pushing everyone to go to Reddit. Reddit sucks so there was a lot that didn't want to go. One of the users @VaBeach_Eagle took it upon himself to recreate a new website using the same skins/designs and also was able to import some data from the original website over to here. We had a gofundme for people to donate to cover startup costs and ongoing maintenance. VA also set up some affiliated partners like fanatics so that whenever something is purchased using the link, a small proceed goes to continue covering the hosting costs. It was earlier than 2016 because I was in Denver and schmoopie didn’t move in with me yet. 2009 or 2010 I’d say.

Horrible and badly designed templates, repeated for over 60 teams and usage tanked when people went elsewhere and never went back. I look at PE.com once or twice a year at most now; no reason to go there. The Redditisation of the NFL forums was going to be disaster; but very sits with the NFLs path to overall blandness; websites. messaging, jerseys etc. Corporate efficiency

It is 17 games. It makes 0.0 sense for McKee to start in weeks 12 and 13 and there is nonchance of that at all unless Hurts gets injured.

He plays well in the preseason but we only saw him in the regular season at limited times besides starting meaningless games. AJ Feeley showed a lot more he could play than McKee ever has and trading him for a 2nd was considered a steal. I think the same would be said for McKee.AJ Feeley's run was so completely overrated. He didn't look impressive. It was bare minimum wins leaning on a great defense. Koy Detmer on the other hand absolutely lit up a playoff 49ers defense in San Francisco on MNF. He genuinely looked great before his injury. AJ Feeley never looked to that level. McKee has looked far better than AJ Feely
