Wednesday at 10:18 AM5 days While I wanted to keep Reed I’m not too concerned with S. Howie will sort out a cheap vet and likely also draft a project who can play ST. The trickier challenge is finding a #1 Edge.

A WR with experience as a RB, who identifies as a RB with the ball in his hands, who loves motion, and has 4.28 speed...and projects to cost a mid round pick. That kind of seems like a dream fit for what we hear this new offense is supposed to want to do.I have him or I should say they have him as a 6-7th round pick, I like him as well..I'm not sure but does he also return kicks?

I think this move gives us the freedom to deprioritize CB early in the draft and try to develop a mid round guy for a year. If we like what we see, then we aren’t forced to take one early in 2027.I can definitely see us drafting Tacorio Davis out of Washington now or a Julian Neal or Davison Igbinosun to follow behind Riq

It’s not a long list. Daylen Everette is my guess.

I get not wanting to cancel out a 3rd round comp pick but otherwise who gives a crap.Yeah 6ths and 7th dont seem to concern Howie either. The 3rds and 4th are valuable.Bowen has become just another senile grouch. Shell of his former self.

The trickier challenge is finding a #1 Edge.Blankenship was solid, but nothing special IMO. Our defense was lacking at Edge last year and losing Phillips certainly doesn’t make the situation better. We definitely need an upgrade, but I doubt Howie will be able to get a #1 Edge here, all things considered. An all star secondary can’t hold up forever, so getting pressure is still a top priority.

These are 1 year deals which I suspect will be small and may not even lock either player in to a roster spot.Is this a smoke screen if the eagles have decided one of Sadiq or Stowers is their guy?Yeah, after going all-in on receiving TEs last offseason - I appreciate Howie going with some varied role players.Like you said, Mundt and the Calculator could just be placeholders to be improved upon via the draft. I figure we still need to pickup a Y by FA/trade to complete the set, and then we’ll see how things shake out.

Wednesday at 12:23 PM5 days Will the Ravens try and back out of a draft pick if they perform badly in OTAs? Not a smart look in a closed system to do that.
Wednesday at 12:32 PM5 days Not that excited to see Calcaterra back. The sort of work colleague that leaves and you forget what they used to do. Woolen has some sense in the deal; one more year to go in this Eagles era and as a limited time deal, pressure is on him to perform. He could leverage the deal into millions or if he goofs off and becomes a pain, CGJ is in his future. He won't lack of a structure or accountability with Fangio.
Wednesday at 12:45 PM5 days Im not that excited about Hendrickson. If he wants to come here on a one year prove it deal like Woolen thats fine but I'm not paying him big money

Wednesday at 01:04 PM5 days At this stage, it's trade market or bust for Edge. I wouldn't have liked Hendrickson against the run, but he would've been a pretty good addition.
