Evan looks like a click bait jack ass after listening to Schefter.

Our WR room is a bunch of Smurfs, once AJ leaves.

Was it the Redskins, back under HC Joe Gibbs, maybe from the 90's, that had that nickname for their WR group?? 🧐

Back to what it used to be, but the media and a certain part of the fan base will be happy I guess.

When we trade AJ to the Pats, we'll have to get Mack Hollins back -or- get Johnny Wilson in the lineup as a token tall person.

He actually said he leans towards a trade because he thinks that’s what AJ would prefer

Affirmative.

Would be funny if closer to the season Nick or Howie or someone says they never planned to trade AJ

Quez Watkins and Danny Gray? By September, one will be on the PS and one will be unemployed...

Possibly all three are gone. Just noting that Howie is collecting speed WRs and has been before the Mannion hire. Starters say positive things about Gray in practice. Then he broke his finger last TC. Youngest of the three and the biggest at 200 lbs. Eagles have seven WRs under contract right now and three are speed WRs. I think none of them have particularly good hands.

Wilson is the only big WR and Nick has typically wanted a big WR. But Gray and Darius Cooper both top 200 lbs.

What's wild is it doesn't seem like AJ or his agents are talking to the media about this, and we know Howie doesn't talk and controls leaks. All the reports come from other NFL team executives. I'm convinced Russini basically does the bidding of Elliot Wolf - trying to make this seem inevitable to drive down Howie's asking price. Clearly there have been talks, but Howie is viewing it as opportunistic, not required. Maybe they have gotten AJ's camp to play ball for leverage, but I'd be STUNNED if they stayed quiet this long as options dwindled (Buffalo, Denver).

If I had to guess, AJ gave them a few teams, and if those couldn't happen, he's going to play it out in 2026 and then demand out since he has no material guaranteed money after this year. And it feels like now the Pats are the last man standing. So they think they have all the leverage, but Howie is not blinking (for now).

This whole thing seems like media driven drama for the offseason IMO. He probably wants to stay

Yeah it’s why i posted it. The other tweet was wrong cause he didn’t say aj does. He said he thinks he does.

That guy is an aggregator account. Aggregator accounts do it to make money, so always post engagement bait.

I was in and out of service this weekend in a national park, but I read he mentioned on WIP to ignore the noise he loved Philly. That was from his mouth not a post. Was that old or last weekend?

I wouldn't go that far.

Case of how different media & social media accounts skew & spin news.

All of this is going to depend on what the offers are. Howie has held firm on his demands and for good reason.

Teams are either going to meet that asking price or they aren't. That's what this all comes down to. Everything else is just fluff. I believe a 1st and 2nd+.

LOL Washington

Losing AJ would be terrible. If there is a bright side to it, we can start looking for a new starting QB sooner. QB1 is going to be dog sheet without AJ. This upcoming college season will be all about scouting QBs

Watched Hollywood Brown a bunch in the last couple of years. When he's healthy, you still have to respect his vertical game. And he's a threat in the short passing game with his quickness and shiftiness and gets good YAC. I like this move for the paltry price they paid. And he's going to probably slot right into WR2 here with Devanta as your number 1. Devanta will get his and then some with a speed merchant at WR2. His career numbers will go up especially without AJ. He won't go weeks without seeing the ball much.

As a side note, Hollywood is only 3 weeks older than AJ. I'd venture to say he's lost less of a step than AJ. Still plenty fast. Good bang for your buck here!

Waiting for the other shoe to drop here. But it's happening one way or the other. Can't see it before June 1st, unless we get overwhelmed. But rather get less draft compensation in June and have the cap space in the interim to keep adding good vet depth pieces on this roster at cheapo prices like Hollywood. I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities coming in next few months. We can use depth help in just about every position outside of CB. Even then, I'd like to add Adoree for 1st CB off bench.

As stated here prior. Eagles should focus on more speed on offense and more physicality on defense with the remaining moves.

The Dolphins offseason seemed like a nice, systematic deconstruction for tanking and assets aside from signing Malik Willis (and whatever other additions they may have made that I'm not aware of).

Take the cap hit on the chin, now for your old franchise QB. Check. Trade a star player for more than you should get in return. Check. But why give Willis all that money just to set him up to fail? They can roll with a worse QB for cheaper who will earn them a better draft pick. Let Minshew or Jameis entertain the fans for a year while you get a top 3 pick.

They're trying to set themselves up for Arch

Did we ever get an answer of why they did that instead of going with the healthy backups?

I've never read or heard this anywhere but I wonder if they were somewhat pizzed at Stout over that. We don't know whose idea it was to play Jurgens and Dickerson when they were obviously physically subpar.
