Stroud is gonna need a new contract in the next 2 years. I am curious on what the Texans do. I think they’re gonna give him an extension but the reality is if he wasn’t a high draft pick with how he’s regressed over the last couple years I don’t think there’s a conversation about it. Then again I can see around the league people saying well Sam Darnold finally got into the right position and look at him and somebody is going to give him a decent contract if they let him go to free agency.

He is a good young QB with a janky offense due mostly to injuries.

No way should he be this bad in the playoffs.

He should have been benched last week (Texans win by 17 if Mills played)

He is looking like Mills' backup today as well.

I still think they give him a second contract. With how he’s regress since his rookie year, I probably consider trading him, getting the value with a team that still loves him then finding another quarterback. But I am guessing because of how highly they drafted him and have invested that they are going to pay him.

Eagles definitely gotta do something at Edge this offseason. Either bring Phillips back or get one because without him the pass rush certainly isn't good enough.

Not having Collins and now Schultz is a detriment to him. But I’m just talking about the perspective of from his rookie year till now he is regressed each of the last two years. I’m not sure I want to pay a second contract just because you spent a high draft pick on him.

Personally, I might actually consider trading him to a team that still values him to get that. And then going out and trying to find another quarterback via draft, FA or even trade. With how good my defense is, I don’t need an elite quarterback but i need one that’s good and doesn’t make bad decisions.

Texans losing Howard just adds to the issues. Stroud sucks, Collins out, Schultz out, Trent brown out and now potentially Howard out.

I like DeMeco as a player and as a coach.

In this case he can not throw away the Texans' season because he is worried about CJ's fragile ego.

Bench the player who is awful today.

If CJ can't get over it then he was never the guy anyway.

Yeh, a 2001 Dilfer would go a long way at this point.

This game is probably over already. Only chance Texans have is if their D scores for them. Never thought an offense could look worse than ours..

He’s not even attempting to check out of obvious pressures being shown whether it’s run or pass.
