Makes me think they’re interested in McDaniel and may try to bring Slowik on to the staff if they hire McDaniel. Just a hunch

My read is they want McDaniel but if they don't end up getting him then they get Slowik as a fallback option.

There was another one later in that game if it's the same where Wentz got smashed in the face and fumbled and they didn't call it and we lost

I love the Slim Reaper but I'm not going to assume 4443 yards and 43 TDs from age 28 to 30.

I think he will be an absolute animal if we get someone like McDaniel that will really unleash DeVonta's full potential.

2-3 almost turnover for stafford on that seriess

But they were elite crappy throws and fumbles.

I’d add best year for stroud came with slowik as OC

I'm beginning to think McDaniel isn't interested in the Eagles and if the Eagles were interested, they are having to pivot. There is no real smoke around a McDaniel visit to Philly. He is actively interviewing for both OC and HC positions. So he either doesn't want us or we don't want him.

Yep I said this earlier. Funny this popped up I mentioned him during the texans game after learning they fired him for someone who had never called plays either

I like the wide and now very active net of interviews the Eagles are doing. Reminds me of the past two HC searches. Although those both resulted in the Eagles hiring guys no one was expecting when the searches started and certainly not any of the big names.

I think they will want to get the big name here for OC.

Siri / Patullo are obsessed with getting him the ball at or behind the line with no blockers.

They never do that with AJ.

They throw slants to AJ but almost never to Smith.

I'd be happy with an OC with a brain who ignores Siri.

DeVonta in space from 5-20 yards downfield is deadly.

30-17 Eagles in the beginning of the 4th.

Siri says lets go conservative. OC and Hurts tell him to shut up and they run the offense.

Now count their SB TDs

So lame. Using a stat because the Eagles have to score like a college team. Those same cheap 1 yard TD’s that cost Saquan Barkley the MVP last year.

not even close....no creativity on that play

Who was the highest scoring team in the NFL this year?

Why not take a shot there???

4 or 5 Rams with zero Bears blockers on 3rd down

Just a pathetic up the middle call on 4th

Doing exactly what they expect on short yardage gets what they just got.

I want to say there was a reason he got fired was like CJ Stroud didn’t get along with him. Which now it looks like CJ Stroud might just be the problem.

Should’ve on 3rd down if you were going for it on 4th

I wouldn’t worry about it he’ll get an interview. He’s been busy and Eagles may try to get the last crack at him and then lock him down.

As an aside it’s apropos for someone named Slowik to interview for an offense that is known for taking longer to get their plays in than any other team.

I remember as a rookie Smitty running and catching a lot of 12-15 yard digs then all the sudden eagles decided no passes over the middle and that was that.

Eagles obsesion with avoiding the middle of the field is detrimental.

Maybe Slowik wasn't responsible or the Texans' bad offense after all..

He was a hot name two years ago.

I have a feeling we are going to end up disappointed. All the talent in the world on offense, and the top coordinators are going to go elsewhere based on the QB.

We are going to end up with Jim Bob

That Stafford is one decisive MFer the way he got rid of the ... oh, nevermind.

I'm not worried. He's not my first or 2nd choice. But the attitude here is that it is a forgone conclusion he will interview with the Eagles if he doesn't take a HC position. I don't think that's in stone.

Very much so.

CJ Stroud regressed badly in year 2 and their OL was a horror show.

Slowik was a scapegoat.

Does CJ look better this year without Slowik?

Just hire whoever the chargers fired it's worked 3 times now
