I mean I suppose. But he wasn’t wrong about the offense. I don’t have any issues with the frustration the last 2 years. The passing game has been terrible. He wants to contribute. He’s also never said he wants to leave, said the opposite actually.

Philly media runs everyone outta town. It’s their thing

I mean what you say to the media/public is not exactly what you say behind closed doors. I am guessing he told his agent he probably didn’t want to be here anymore. his agent behind the scenes is talking to Howie and telling him hey he’s unhappy he would like to be traded. His agent/his camp didn’t make an even bigger deal of it during the season. It’s the off-season now that’s why it kind of gets leaked out now because I’m guessing his agent gave a nugget to somebody in the media to put it out there. Easier (still hard due to contract) to construct a trade than it was going to be at the trade deadline.

Or maybe it’s just AJ reading books on the sideline, tweeting out cryptic messages, going on podcasts saying the offense is a crap show and he’s miserable, saying the passing game sucks etc.

What’s crazy is you don’t hear anything about Devonta Smith getting traded. Or Goedert. Or literally any other skill player.

Maybe he just brought it on himself.

Offense is crap though. Other players criticized the offense too but AJ gets more hate

Kind of funny how the fanbase acted with the book reading though. Made the author a best seller

The delusion is so deep for some people.

AJ quit on routes, just ran in straight lines instead of trying to get open, and routinely gave 80% on contested balls.

What a victim!

They’ve been doing it for 2 years then. He ain’t going to be traded and then it’ll start again.

Frankly fans need a player to blame for their frustration with the offense. Easy choice was him due to his unhappiness and social media.

He ran the routes that were called for him. And bec we have a qb who sucks, he mostly did cardio all season long every game

I don’t think he ever asked to be traded in 2024. I think he was just unhappy with how the passing offense looked at that point in time. I think he began asking to be trade this year because nothing changed with the passing game from 2024 to 2025. I think he was hoping to come back in 2025, and that the passing game would be better because they had to cause it was almost impossible to replicate running game at the historic clip. And when that didn’t change, I think that’s when he went to his agent and the eagles saying he wants out.

I also think some of this has to do with money. Money always plays a role. I think he saw in 2024 that if this continues it’s gonna hurt him when he has to go and ask for an extension after 2026. People could say this isn’t about money, but it plays a role when you know your last big payday is the next contract you get. And your decreasing production contributes to that payday potentially being less.

Could have been others but I remember Mailata, Lane, and Smitty

I think it’s most with his desire to be a HOF wr and go down as one of the best to do it at his position. He can’t accomplish that here with hurts and he knows that

Lets go Hoosiers. Halfway there

Hurricanes offense looking like the Eagles

I think that’s part of it. Cause he’s a competitor like that. I think he also realizes that he is going to be 30 years old going into the 2027 season. He needs a new contract at the end of 2026. He has $4 mil guaranteed after 2026 on his deal. This is going to be his last big payday. His style doesn’t seem to correlate to him playing at an elite/great level into his mid to late 30s. So I am guessing he knows knows if his production declines each year that that’s gonna be associated with him declining. It’s costing him the money he wants. I think people kind of overlooked that. He’s not stupid. He clearly understands. He has a limited time to make the most amount of money as possible. If I am in my late 20s and my statistics/production declined each year going into a contract year then that’s gonna be held against me and I’m not gonna make what I want.

Buddy and Jeff Fisher/Bud Carson had good runs, but little came of it

Not the guy who led us to our 1st SB appearance?

Thats actually an incredible coaching tree for a doofus.

Offense being crap isn’t the point. Other plays criticized the offense and said "we need to be less predictable”, "we need to execute better” or "we need to get to the line faster so we have time”. One guy made it about himself and now miserable he is. One guy went above and beyond to make it known multiple times he was miserable about something. That’s why the media talks and reports about him and not the others.

I haven’t seen any of the media "hate” on him. They just talk about the elephant in the room of if he wants to be here when he is always so miserable. If he just criticized the offense without making it about himself, no one in the media would be saying anything.

Bobrovsky got into a fight. He was such an all-time Philly athlete that got away.

Now we got a ballgame

Bauman the TE from miami continues to block his ass off. Might have been a hold

Miami rb reminds me of Blount

In his defense…it was the Browns. Last time they had a coach with a winning record was 1988. Unless you want to count Williams interim time.

For the better…he’s turned himself into a borderline HOF type with franchises that actually protect him.

It always is. Halftime seemed to be 45 minutes itself. nonono. That's what drives me nuts with these college playoff games. They drag them out so much.

Agreed. It's ridiculous.
