Wonder what is going on with Joe Brady. Really haven't heard anything outside of him interviewing for the Ravens job.

I don’t usually get personal on here, but your post hit me. I’ve been where you are. I’ve had a couple suicide attempts in my past and spent time in inpatient treatment afterward. I’m still in therap

Dan Quinn was the guy that should have been fired. I'm guessing he threw his coordinators under the bus to buy another year. It was his decision to pad his young QB's stats in a blowout loss against an opponent's backups, costing them their leader and it was his decision to rush him back only to reaggravate the injury. He's a moron. His handprints were all over that horrible defense as well.

Based off reading Diana russini‘s report, there was a bigger issue between the commanders general manager, Adam peters and Kingsbury. Dan Quinn was involved. But based off her reporting it seems like FO really didn’t agree with what Kingsbury wanted to do or how the offense function. Which isn’t that much of a surprise because Joshua Harris owns that team so it would not shock me if that’s how it worked.

Tbh if I’m a team like Buffalo, I might take a chance on him as a second time head coach. I like how his offense works. You have Josh Allen, who he could maximize in his offense. The only other thing I think buffalo should look at is getting a defensive minded head coach to fix their defense. Which has been a problem in all their playoff losses. However, the names that are out there I don’t exactly love. I would’ve said if you could get Mike Tomlin to come out of retirement but he’s saying he’s done. If you had Tomlin and then hired somebody like Kingsbury at OC that probably be your best scenario. But that seems extremely unlikely

Gargano said he heard Kingsbury isn’t happening, the Eagles don’t view him as a fit. He said if it’s not Daboll it’ll probably be Kafka.

I saw that 'pushing hard' sounds like journalistic license. They interviewed him at least. Did they make him an offer? I'm not saying this is working out like the Eagles wanted. Their coaching searches rarely do but I also don't believe the media either

There must be some kind of torque wrench to measure these things.

Funny I said it was going to be Kafka months ago but I'm still underwhelmed

I think to dismiss KK based on fit, it's probably based on his demands/staffing.

The not a positive environment is obvious. We have people here bashing the coach & QB endlessly before the next SB even happens. A loud portion of the fanbase is miserable and most players and coaches don't want to be around it

Don’t like that. I actually thought the giants looked even worse as the weeks went on. Also watching him on hard knocks felt very uninspiring. Granted it’s cut up and not a lot. If i remember correctly Bo wulf was saying for lack of better words a jerk. Which not a problem if you are good at your job. But tend to think he’s not that great at his job.

Is Gargano reliable at breaking news?

Very underwhelming. I’d go upside like Weiss over Kafka at that point.

He knows and talks to people he's really close with Garafolo. He's not really a news breaker. But he doesn't just say stuff either. I believe someone in the know told him this. Whether or not it's true who knows.

Would Kafka mean it would be Vagi's offense again or will he have his own scheme?

Reid seemed to want Bienemy over Kafka fwiw. There seemed to be no intention of bringing him back

Eek. Eagles lose out on another.

Lololololololol

We’re gonna end up with Pat Shurmur

Lurie is willing to outbid anyone, the fact that people keep turning you down should hopefully make Lurie and Howie introspective about why this keeps happening.

Kind of Joe Brady or bust at this point and bust seems like a likely outcome.

Being a little facetious because you don't know how these guys will do but the 'big swing' seems like a swing and a miss

Like I said earlier it's always happened. Arthur Smith took the TEN job over the Eagles 5 years ago and Hurts wasn't even a thing really then

Philly is not a destination location for many reasons. Especially harsh to the Eagles because for the most part it's the only team they truly care about. Sixers, Phillies, Flyers are mostly after thoughts unless they are winning. The Eagles get the hammer whether they are great or not and the Philly teams/players feel obligated to talk about how "great and passionate" the fan base is. If you haven't figured it out yet, that is code for total ****.

You were right about the secret interview with McDaniels.

Yeah makes sense. Steichen and Moore couldn't win st all with Herbert, not even a playoff game. But went to Super Bowls with Hurts and got HC jobs out of it.

Went to SB because of Howie, the OL, two top WR, and Vic last year.

Candidates know what the expectation is here, and that could be intimidating if guys aren't up to the challenge. We went 11-6, won the division, one and done, then fired our coordinator, and we're supposedly looking for a coordinator that turns this staff upside down. Who is up for that challenge and willing to take on that pressure right away? Knowing that 2026 has to be better.
