Went to SB because of Howie, the OL, two top WR, and Vic last year.

I don’t usually get personal on here, but your post hit me. I’ve been where you are. I’ve had a couple suicide attempts in my past and spent time in inpatient treatment afterward. I’m still in therap

Delusional

Factual.

Howie, assemble the top O-Line in football, and signed Saquan who had one of the 10 best season by a RB in NFL history, then got a new DC who absolutely killed it

the OL, best in the NFL

two top WR, facts

and Vic, Eagles defense, #1 in YPG allowed and #2 in PPG allowed.

Meanwhile, the guy who want to give all the credit two, led the 29th ranked passing game, while passing for 193 yards per game and barely a TD a game. Sure, you are going to bring up his rushing TD's, but I think of those as vultured TD's after Barkley did all the work, and more than half of those TD's should have been Barkley's and cost him the MVP.

Then, when he is most clutch (supposedly), in the playoffs, he passed for 181 yards per game. Hurts is 6th or 7th on the list of reasons the Eagles won a Super Bowl, and he is that high only because they took the ball out of his hands so he didn't turn it over.

So what you are saying is if the Oline is one of the worst in the league, and the offensive scheme likewise and the defense isn't as good as it was the previous season then it's tough to win a SB?

Yeah look how Hurts finished without that

How did Hurts do this year without a 2k rusher and a good OC? Just like JH who didn't have that either.

You can't argue with him on that. He was fully committed to qb1 has soon as the tip went in. Qb1 does nothing wrong. He's the only reason why the Eagles win

Blaming the fans is just coping lol

If you are playing good ball, the fans aren't a problem. That said, who was the 'they' that pulled the plug on Siri in 2021 or Moore last year? There seems to be a threshold for trying new ideas, where pragmatism kicks in.

I know people don’t wanna hear this, but it’s a much harder sell for this offense going into 2026 offseason then previous years. The offensive line did not play as well. So you’re hoping that they can bounce back. You also potentially are losing AJ Brown to a trade and goedert to free agency. Those are two key weapons that are potentially gone. You also have to construct an offense that fits Jalen hurts. Then the whole thing of lurie potentially blowing it up after 2026.

I think there’s a lot of factors but the Eagles job in general. It’s still an attractive job, but there’s a chance you take the job Brown’s gone, goedert is gone, less talented offense and some other factors. It’s a harder sell with those question marks in place.

And with all that they’ll probably get someone on the same level as Reich, Streichen and Moore when they took the job. There are only so many OC jobs

Well, if you live in the bizarro troll upside down - it makes sense.

ok - fine. Off topic. Say Nick got fired.... do we think McDaniel wouldve come here as a head coach ?

I wouldn’t want Mike McDaniel a head coach. I watched and listened to some of his press conferences as the years went on. When he started, he was very eloquent and articulate. By the time he got to the end of his tenure he wasn’t even coherent in those press conferences. I would add on people didn’t like what AJ Brown was doing, go look at what Tyreek Hill was doing the last two years in Miami. I think he’ll get another head coaching job and maybe he learns from what happened in Miami. There’s part of me that also thinks he loves the lifestyle the NFL gives him and sometimes coaching takes a backseat to kt.

5 is average. Nothing wrong with that. The 5's were lined up in college lol

The other factor in this they picked a really bad year to have to fire their OC and go get one. There’s 10 head coaching jobs which means there’s a ton of other jobs out there too. usually there’s 4-6.

That said there’s certain jobs I wouldn’t touch. I’m not touching a job with the Titans, Raiders or Cardinals. I don’t care if there’s only 32 teams. Those three teams in particular have been dumpster fires for a while now. They don’t give you the best opportunity to succeed. If I’m a retread coach, I’m not touching them. I’d rather stay where I’m at and build equity and if I have more success, I can get a better job than those.

We can make all the excuses we want but it's Nick and Hurts

It sounds like McDaniels also wanted to be back in California. So no I don't think it's worth panicking over 1 top guy going somewhere else. If multiple guys pass us over and we're stuck with someone like Kafka then yeah that's a red flag.

It's funny the Eagles are so secretive about this stuff yet still have terrible leaks and generally don't get the top guys anyway

I don't think they have been secretive.

Maybe even Howie, Lurie and the fans. It's also definitely WIP and Jason Kelce.

I don’t know, I kind of think he’s trying really hard here.
