Absolutely. Nick and his involvement is probably 1 and the limitations on Hurts 2. Howie is the best GM and despite what that hack job DR says it's a great organization.

We didn't get the former HC guys which is disappointing but the other candidates are former OCs who were highly thought at one point but largely disappointed in their last stop. That description fits Reich, Steichen & Moore if we're being honest

The reason for it is that ownership group is cheap and does stupid things all the time. He picked Reid. Every year they have one of the best rosters, best GM, and a stable owner. Fans aren't blocking things but people know Nick is a clown and his system sucks. Hurts limits what they can do. That is why.

But is the past 4 years under Sirianni carrying too much weight and a factor as to why Howie and Lurie won't move on from Sirianni/Hurts? Are Howie and Lurie too scared to make that decision and it blow up in their face?

The decision to allow Patullo to be promoted falls in Howie's lap as well as Siriannis........it is not all on Sirianni. But if Howie has his hand in two bad coordinator decisions and 2026 ends up being another let down, this could spiral quickly.

Sirianni is here for 2026, now what they plan to do with Hurts? I would think he is a part of 2026 as well........
