It's not the fans. It was reported that Eagles wanted these guys

January 28Jan 28 Just hire Engstrand and put this search to bed.Wonder if Weis Jr goes to the Giants to coach Dart.

January 28Jan 28 Udinski and Scheelhaase not getting hired is a good thing. We need good candidates next year when we fire Sirianni.
January 28Jan 28 Sucks for Schwartz. Was his best chance to get another bite at the HC apple, and he deserves it imo.Get it from the Browns perspective. QB is priority #1, 2, and 3. Ownership, Shedeur-mania, possibly Andrew Berry have made that job radioactive. I’d have gone Monken too. Has some light Bruce Arians vibes with his lower level HC exp, success running NFL offenses, old.

Reich didn’t get his 1st job til 56 going on 57 and Arians at 60. I actually think makes sense to hire monken and keep Schwartz as DC. If I’m Buffalo I’d definitely try to get Schwartz to leave Cleveland
January 28Jan 28 Hopefully Giants don't take whatever OC the Eagles are after. Stay away from Engstrand. Even though the Eagles haven't even been tied to him yet, I expect they will.
