Using the word developed in relation to Love is a very bold thing to say. Willis…ya he’s looked alright in spots. I know nothing of Mannion, but Love’s ‘development’ isn’t a hat hanger.

Off the wall, insane idea. Hire Mannion as OC, bring back Pederson as a consultant. Dougie P isn't getting another shot as a HC at this point.

Doug's offense was even worse, do you imagine AJ and Smitty going to be happy getting 800 yards on a good year while Goedert's rookie replacement gets 170 targets, and 110 catches for 1200 yards?

Bring Schwartz back home if that's true

Engstrand is the most interesting of the guys left with NFL play calling experience.

I’m a firm believer that it takes about a full year to wash all the Jets stank off…adding him to the staff might be a good thing. OC IDK.

I seriously have no clue what's going on with him. Maybe the 2024 experience really soured the Eagles on him, but is he getting interviews elsewhere? I thought he was ticked to the Ravens, but haven't heard much about it lately.

Only if he showed up with 4 duffel bags full of 3 ring binders.

Wouldn't they have blocked Dallas from hiring Parker? That makes no sense

They couldn't block him. It was a promotion.

But if it's true that Vic was contemplating retirement they probably would have told Parker to sit tight. Unless this was a timing thing or Vic was 50/50 at the time and Parker didn't want to risk it.

The eagles promoted Kasper in the last day. They are unlikely to do that if Fangio were leaving

Reportedly but not announced.

My concern if we bring in Engstrand or Mannion - are they going to be leaving in a year for another head coaching job ?

I obviously cant speak for y'all but I'm getting really tired of having to find a new OC every single season. its ridiculous

If the offense sucks again then I'd bet Howie/Lurie do a reset on offense and fire everyone

Honestly don't see the hype for Mannion. Love is not a good example IMO. Packers fans can be upset about the possible hire but I think I'd join them in being upset but for different reasons

Their fanbase looks at and discusses Love like we do Hurts. Dummies there even thought he deserved MVP love at times too. Honestly, the fact that with all the injuries and horrid inconsistent play from Love that they’ve been successful is a shock and speaks some to him. Though as i mentioned earlier, tying the word ‘development’ with Jordan Love’s play is baffling.

I'd be upset if Vic retired. He could build a big legacy here considering he's got a bunch of young guys that believe in his system

This is the counterpoint, FWIW

Counter counterpoint.

Counterpoint. Love has always been ass, and it’s a miracle that staff has gotten good production out of him

Eagles are poorly run............(sarcasm)

I don't know about Webb. Denver was great but the offense really S the bed in that AFC CG

what happened - was it New Englands defense or just poor play by the Broncos offense

I basically said this a couple posts above.

Mainly stidham starting. Then the weather. Then good defense.

They played with Stidham

He might want to watch the Phillies more closely. Cause you know run it back and try to avoid the aging process

Ginger Jurgens next to Ginger Gennings? We have the Exciting Whites, what would you call that duo?

I'd like this guy and the Wyoming OL.

Then we need a new HC who isn’t a coordinator merchant.

good enough for me

Vic retiring makes no sense. If he were thinking that, he would give them a heads up especially when Parker was interviewing.

For all we know, Shefty was just saying there could be more than that...meaning a new OC can mean new position coaches to discuss. He didn't post it on his own twitter account. So Shefter wants to go on local radio show and give them the attention and ratings and clicks, instead of drop potential news on his own channel?

Fans are going to wildly speculate and then it will turn out to be they hire a new WR coach.

Good for him

He got a SB ring last year right? Imagine having 2 SB rings like LeSean McCoy and playing just as many snaps as he did.

It's been 5 years since the emails became public. I'm surprised more haven't called

The emails aren’t the reason, the Raiders contract is the main reason. Per the Raiders’ settlement, Gruden gets around $10 million this year. When they stop paying him is unclear.
