That too. Still think if the O-line played better and were healthier, the offense would have looked better.

Its why that should be priority #1 this offseason. Fixing the O-line and making it a top 5 unit again.

There was a ton of execution issues. The offense had long been our guys will beat your guys. Mainly, that was the OL winning or AJ Brown making a contested catch. This year, they didn't do those things well enough.

Fixing the OL and making sure a Dickerson, Jurgens, or Lane injury can't hurt us is vital.

The longer this goes on and the lower we have to stoop for candidates, I gotta think we’ll reach a point where Lurie says F it and cans Siri.

Siri is not getting fired

Didn't Russini end up being right though?

She did. I never questioned if she was right wrong. I was more irritated. She never gave any new news. It was always the same story over and over again. That she shouldn’t keep reporting the same thing until she had new information to report.

Imagine if the day Patullo was fired, Schefter said: keep an eye on Jerrod Johnson, Josh Grizzard, Sean Mannion, and Jim Bob Cooter as the names for Philly.

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to just accept this slop just because the other names are gone. It's an embarrassing list of candidates. And while of course any of them could surprise, I think we all know what the most likely outcome is. It ends with Sirianni getting fired and organizational upheaval. This team was on top of the world less than a year ago and this is where we are now? Shameful.

You're not sorry ......... and you're going to accept it.

The rooney rule has long been satisfied I think.

They had a 1/3 PR Mike Kafka, so we need 1 2/3 more!

This team should be in the midst of a 3 year dynasty right now. And it's still confounding and maddening how this is all evolving and being mishandled. I smelled problems as soon as they won the Superbowl last year, in how they attacked all of this. There has been negligence, overconfidence and a lot of bad course correcting to blame here and this could easily spiral further, if Howie doesn't stem the tide here. Many to blame here, but ultimately this is Howie's deal. I give him credit for rebuilding this team quickly and getting us to where we were in early February of 2025. But the window can shut faster than one can blink. This offseason may be his toughest yet. How he attacks this offseason will determine our Superbowl contender status and whether this all falls off the rails or not in the short and medium term. We all know that after dominating the Chiefs last season that we should not be here, at this low point. Still hopeful, but certainly concerned. While it's easy to put all the blame on one guy such as an OC, start placing the finger at Mr. Howie Roseman. Not absolved here by any means.

So we’re looking at:

  1. Fired OC in Tampa

  2. CJ stroud’s qb coach

  3. Guy who has coached for 2 years total

  4. Sirriani associate named Jim Bob

Who said our job isn’t desirable?

Also if the only way you could attract this group was to offer full autonomy then you're at a super low point.

Where are Engstrand and Kingsbury?

I find it weird Engstrand is even more quiet than Kingsbury. I haven't heard a single thing about him. I wonder if already has a job lined up with Lions or Bears since he has the Ben Johnson connection. It's funny, I had no idea Press Taylor was the PGC for Chicago.

Just so we’re clear, the finalists appear to be…

  • Sirianni’s former quality control coach

  • Sirianni’s former assistant WR coach and consultant

  • A guy TB couldn’t wait to fire

  • A promising QB coach with 2 years of coaching experience

Sean Manion it is

Eagles hire Mannion. Better than the retreads, but this whole process was a disgrace. They should be embarrassed. They better bring in a strong staff. Engstrand for passing game coordinator maybe.

He was the most intriguing out of the 4 but I have my doubts how this all will shake out.

Lurie trying to repeat the Andy Reid hire it seems. At least it is something new. Maybe Engstrand for PGC.

I was just getting sold on Mannion a bit. But still seems very risky

This is Orlovsky saying Ravens should hire Mannion(or Doyle) and why.

Underwhelming. But the reality is that none of the bigger players wanted the role.

Packers had a wealth of talent at TE. Wonder if he has any say on bringing some talent in.

Called it a week ago. So much for a seasoned play caller

So a Mannion hire is very interesting. You would think he will have a certain prototype that he wants for his offense. I am thinking this definitely spells the end of Goedert and most likely AJ. And see a couple new offensive linemen as well. He's gonna want to put his stamp on this. So basically, 2 new WRs, 2 new TEs and 2 new OL. That's a nice revamp.

roll lolLove and Willis

FFS facepalm they could have looked at QB coaches with better results

Damn should’ve gone back a page haha. Yeah option 3 among this group….

So we're staying with 12 and 13 personnel? Wonderful

I get the comparison but Reid was a coach for 18 years before coming here
