If you continue to see vestiges of the pre-existing, uber-simple passing scheme, then you'll know that it's never been because of the OC.

Honestly scheme was the least of the issues last year…ability to sequence and get play calls in in time was the biggest.

Firing KP would be an awesome start

Yes indeed. Keeping him would be a slap in the face and prove that Sirianni has pictures.

This is infuriating and falls directly on the shoulders of Howard Roseman. How was this even possible and allowed to happen?

It's a culture issue to treat health as simply a mindset rather than actual medical conditions which needs time and teatment for recovery. If you are not allowing players to recover before pushing them to play, this will continue to be an issue.

What does this even mean?

I don't know what the plan to make us happier will be but this is in Mann's Wikipedia entry:

Mann founded weGrow, a retailer of cannabis-growing hydroponics, with former stock broker Derek Peterson in January 2010. Mann and Peterson rented a supply store in Oakland to sell hydroponics equipment, and aimed to open franchises in eight other states.[7][13] Ihttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhar_Mann

Does the East-West Shrine Bowl even actually exist or is it all a goof?

Trying to find a box score to see how many runs vs passes or look at a play by play to see the flow of how he called the game but there is absolutely nothing at all like that available anywhere.

Do we know yet whether he was actually fired or just transitioned to a different position?

womp womp

after defending Patullo and Sirianni and blaming the players all season, watch how fast he blames Mannion next season the second something goes wrong on offense. He’s been pushing the "Patullo should’ve been retained” takes since the season ended and then he was saying the Eagles should go the Cooter or Nagy route so he’s gonna act like a baby and have an agenda against Mannion because the Eagles didn’t go the way he wanted them to go.

ESP probably turns 34 this year.

This guy could be a home run. It's impossible to say he's going to be great or bad...no one knows anything about him besides the fact that Jordan Love still sucks and GB fans like him.

What is noteworthy is that the ENTIRE criticism of the Patullo hire was inexperience and they managed to hire the only candidate out there that is actually less experienced than Patullo, who also has zero history with calling plays. That reflects a lack of options.

I’m embracing the unknown and upside because why not be positive. Obviously I’d have preferred a proven stud coordinator if that was an option

Both Cooter and Grizzard called plays fwiw

Bears get picks for our guy

Was televised live by NFLN. They may replay it as the draft draws closer. I'm sure you can find some youtube stuff.

Is he the guardian cap nerd that can’t catch a cold?

None of the Green Bay WRs can catch a cold. He is the one with the cap, yes.

The only GB WR I actually LOVE is Reed but he is always injured

All they do is hire Philly guys

Why do people think Jordan Love sucks?

I think when it comes down to it, either a guy knows football, and has the vision to call it the right way, and can communicate that to others… Or he can’t. The Eagles were hoping that KP would grow into that… They are getting the impression from pretty much everyone, including themselves, that Mannion can.

I was interested in Doyle when he was a candidate… And I’m interested in Mannion for the same reasons. It is certainly a major departure in philosophy from what we have had.

Not sucks. Just not really impressive. I don't think he'll be joining Favre and Rodgers

It doesn’t even matter to me. People get too obsessed with that stuff when evaluating coaches. Like if GB upset Chicago then Mannion would have been a hotter candidate. It doesn’t change who he is as a coach. And who he is is someone who we have no idea about as a schemer or play caller for better or worse

Again, perfect example of how dumb the rule is. The EAGLES gave him the opportunity.

Because he acts like a clown and has pissed two seasons away with bad decisions. Coaches shouldn't cause teams to lose and he did watching KP continue when he was over his head and watched as obviously injured OL continued to play when they obviously couldn't. They couldn't beat a 49ers team at home obviously banged up because of gross ineptitude. Two seasons we watched gross negligence from him as HC. Yeah, they won a SB, but it was Howie and Vic and KM a lot more than Nick who shaved his head as his contribution.

I hate to break this to you and others, but he's not the only coach in Philadelphia who started to have issues once losing important staff. People have been winning too much to remember what happened to Reid, but they really should remember what happened to Doug.

I still honestly don't get what people wanted him to do in 2023. That team was not winning a Super Bowl even if we weren't screwed out of Vic Fangio by Gannon. Some people act like they consider that a 'lost Super Bowl' year, but I really don't get that.
