It's actually quite prohibitive to add a third party which requires buy off on an agreement when there typically is only two. It's at least 50% more prohibitive, you could even say.

It simply requires the player to waive his no trade clause. There are reasons to believe he would be willing to do that.

did he just grow an inch last night? wasnt he that tall a few years ago?

Must have taken that gas station pill

Still amazed they hired someone with no playcalling experience again

Do they give him the keys or is he just calling Nicks offense? Huge gamble either way. I just wasn't expecting that. Figured they'd hire someone with experience

No doubt they sold how he'll likely get HC offers next offseason if the offense looks competent but I'm sure there are worries that he'll be fired along with Nick if it's a mess again

Jalen Nailor would be an option and someone Mannion has played with in Minnesota..he has speed to spare. If we clear the crap up with AJ and still draft a WR we would

have a deep wr room. Our TE2 needs to be a blocking TE more then receiving.

If he does not want an extension, that likely means he doesnt want an extension In Philly. Otherwise, like any player who is not planning on retiring, we can all reasonably assume that he would like to continue making money. Which means, contract extension.

The implication is that he wanted the extension this off-season and so badly that he'd agree to be traded.

But I get it, when you want something to happen so bad, you cut some corners to try to get to a point where you think it's plausible.

And there are many more reasons to believe he wouldn't be willing to do it.

Yeah wasn't what I was expecting. I think once you got past McDaniel and Daboll (neither of whom looked like great play callers last year fwiw) then you really were picking from guys with play calling experience but not great results and guys without experience. Time will tell

Sam Roush is an interesting TE prospect for us if we are looking for a guy who can block, but also be a receiver. He has some hidden receiving ability.

Yeah if we were gonna go this route, I'd have preferred someone like McCown but whatever. We'll see how things play out, I guess.

If Mannion is bringing the McVay/Shanny offense it would be imperative that we add a real third wide receiver who can do some dirty work and/or manufactured touch stuff. The best fit for that would be Makai Lemon. He should be gone by our pick. I don’t know much about Concepcion beyond him being a good RAC guy. I saw some Harvin comps.

In FA, Wandale Robinson would fit the bill, but he seems like a lock to get paid more than he is worth. Last year bums like Dyami Brown and Tutu Atwell got $10M/year.

Think Cooper is a possibility? Seems like he could be a good slot guy and fill in outside when needed. This draft, I think it's Oline, Edge, and TE early and often. Maybe S too. Or at least I hope it goes that way. We have 7 picks in the top 180. 5 in the top 137. I think they try and keep Phillips but let Dean and Blankenship walk in FA.

Todd McShay has been raving about him. Said he’ll play for 12 years and be a winning player.

The play calling experience is overblown in my opinion. Talent and preparation comes first and some guys are just better at it than others. When Reid was hired he did well quickly because he was talented and prepared. I'm encouraged they didn't retread the crap out of this hire and no doubt did their research on Mannion.

Hes not as fun as most of this class full of move TEs. But, a nice throwback guy who can be an effective target could be just what we are looking for. How much of a blocker is Craft in GB?

McShay has the story on Tyren Montgomery here. I had been wondering why someone this good was at a D3 school. The bad thing- sounds like hes a very old prospect.

Yes thats the dude to be the third wr next season. Willing blocker too. Can add a cheap vet for depth again.

I dont see wr as a priority for this draft class. Day 3 if you like a dude then fine but he better be a kick returner too

Ok scrap that, we're doomed. The downside to this is probably not full autonomy.

She should name herself as Captain Obvious.

As I continue watching that McShay video a couple interesting names in the QB class have been popping up in everyone's senior bowl coverage.

Altmyer is a quick processor. Keeps the offense on time. Doesnt try to do too much. Will throw it away when play is not there. He was the best QB of a very poor group at the Shrine game, and now seems to be the best QB at the senior bowl too. Sounds like he will be a very good backup.

Taylen Green has prototypical size, speed, and a big arm. Has been making plays, and improving through the week. He is a slower processor. But McShay says theres not been any moments of just looking downright bad as a passer. This guy sounds like a big riser. This is the type of prospect NFL teams drool over.

Those guys arent just from the above video. Theyve been the guys talked about across all of youtube during shrine week. Clear standouts.

I'm more worried about design and creativity than playcalling

Doug also showed he was a good play caller quickly from 0. I'd hope that part of the interview attempts to emulate that. Obviously far from the real thing but I'd hope they try

Reviews on the kindness officer are off to a great start!

These feels like watching an accident in progress

Kraft is basically Kittle 2.0. He’s a monster.
