January 30Jan 30 So was Jerrod Johnson also maybe interviewing for a different position? Seems like Grizzard’s second interview could have been for PGC?

January 30Jan 30 Credit to the team. Took their time, did their due diligence and added some good differentiation on the O side of the ball. The times, they are a changingWhen does Patullo go to Indy then?

Seems like Grizzard’s second interview could have been for PSC?I was thinking about this too. Grizzard was fired and didn't have a job, so it was easy to interview him for any position and bring him in. With Johnson, he's still the QB coach in Houston, so they could block him since it doesn't have play calling. Idk if he would come here for the same position or what.

If we try to add someone like Nagy, that could be a too many cooks in the kitchen situation.I don't think so, I mean many teams have a big staff. They should all know how to work with one another at this point.
January 30Jan 30 I don't really think you want a Reich or Nagy looming. Grizzard is supposed to be super smart (Yale) and called plays (albeit not well last year). Get one more guy in the braintrust that's good and go. I have no idea about Loefler btw
January 30Jan 30 EJ Smith said he wouldn't be surprised if Loeffler goes and they bring in a QB coach from the McVay tree who is obsessed with foot work.QB coachWR coachRun game coordinatorSenior offensive assistant are the other potential shoes to drop
January 30Jan 30 I really like both of these moves they have made for the offensive side. It’s a commitment to an updated, efficient scheme with both coaches having ties and experience to productive offenses and innovative concepts with successful coaches. Get the ship right with AJ, sell him on the process, and run it back with him, DeVonta, and Saquon again.

Shows a commitment to change
January 30Jan 30 I'm not overly worried or counting on Grizzard as a successor. If the Eagles do well but Mannion doesn't get a job in yr 1 then it's very possible Grizzard gets his 2nd OC shot elsewhere. There are many ways it could go. Just want to see a highly functional offense this coming season and then take it from there
January 30Jan 30 Question. Let’s say the offense is a major disappointment again next year.Who are YOU going to blame:1. Offensive coaching by committee approach2. Siriani for polluting everyone else and having too much influence.3. New guys suck4. Jalen Hurts isn’t good enough

If we have players running wide and Jalen is bailing to the right out of a clean pocket, throwing it outta bounds, holding the ball too long. Then we need a new qb

Jalen Hurts isn’t good enoughI think things are situation dependent but if you take major injuries out of the equation then I just don't think Nick will survive another OC firing. In this age of the nfl it seems like any decent play caller becomes a HC so I'd think Lurie would want to go that way and start fresh. If Hurts is bad then that's a thing unto itself but I still don't think Nick survives a QB change either,

The best fit for that would be Makai Lemon. He should be gone by our pick. I don’t know much about Concepcion beyond him being a good RAC guy. I saw some Harvin comps. In FA, Wandale Robinson would fit the bill, but he seems like a lock to get paid more than he is worth. Last year bums like Dyami Brown and Tutu Atwell got $10M/year.You mean it’s imperative we bring in at least 2 TEs?
