Other guys who cover the team have said they think the Eagles want the Shanahan/McVay oriented scheme.2 hours ago, Sack that QB said:From the league that pretends to care about its players.Uhh, they can actually fly West, right towards Australia. I think that, on paper anyway, should make things easier for marrying up the run game and the pass game.Great point. Maybe they will actually bring in some TE's who are good at blocking too.

I'm not sure anyone on this team has ever been more invested in a position coach than he was in Stout.Considering this past season was arguably his worst, I wouldn't count on it since the drop off was already there under Stoutland for whatever reason.

It's pretty clear based on who is being brought in that these are all Mannion guys. I hope Lurie and Howie have some type of a plan or vision of what they are going to do if Mannion turns out to be the real deal, like a young savant coach and teams want him in a year. They can't keep going through this every year. Especially in 2027 after how much turnover there was this year already. This has to be the last year of this BS cycle every year.Yup, unless eagles win the super bowl I could see the birds getting rid if Nick next year and handing it over to mannion, unless of course mannon is somehow a total disaster as an OC , but I think thats unlikely

He already alluded to he doesn’t want to play forever. I could see him leaving a little early rather than a year or two too late

February 5Feb 5 Bo and EJ today were talking about how one of the disconnects with Jalen Hurts is that if you want Jalen Hurts to do something, he needs to see the logic in it, otherwise he's going to resist it. And the previous staff apparently were not able to explain logically to him why they wanted him to do certain things. And it's up to the new staff to sell him on the concepts that they want him to do and why they think it'll make him a better player. It's hard to tell how much of this stuff is true and how much of it is ex coaches throwing Hurts under the bus so they can look good, but this type of stuff makes him sound like a diva.

Becton always seems to be average at best to bad anywhere besides his one year with Stoutland. If, as has been reported (or suggested) Mannion is going to run something in the Shanahan mode, Becton does not fit.

Call the Jets, see if they are interested and if you can get multiple firsts for Hurts. I'd want one this year and one in 27'. Not even sure if I would do it even if they said yes but at this rate it seems like a rebuild is coming soon. 1 minute ago, pgcd3 said:They just fired a bunch of people who had been there for years and I’d assume they had friends so that’s what happensThey cause this mess yet the vibes are down. Of course the vibes are down what did they think. Maybe this will spark them to do something big (and good) this offseason.
