February 6Feb 6 So Brees and Fitz are probably locks tonight for the HOF, who else makes it from the finalists?

I’ll say Suggs to get a defensive player. Wouldn’t be surprised about Witten either.

February 6Feb 6 Is Stoutland still under contract? If so, unless the Eagles fire him, he doesn't just get to go "Ok, I'm out" and then go coach another team. If I was Lurie and he wanted to coach the Giants there's no chance in hell I'd allow it. I'd be like either come coach for us or spend time with your family, but you're under contract. You don't just get to go elsewhere whenever you want.

This could have been mismanaged worse than we are all imaging...or not at all.The offense SUCKED last year. The Eagles' power structure wants to implement changes. They will no doubt be held accountable if those changes flop. But I don't think there's much sense speculating or losing our collective minds over it right now when it simply could be that a bunch of old coaches who have been around the block a million times are questioning if they want to do it again amidst significant schematic changes.

Stoutland declined to come back. And they were supposed to release a message at the same time about him leaving. And Stoutland jumped the gun before the Eagles could release their message. Because Stoutland wanted to show he wasn’t on the same page as the Eagles. McLane Said that in the podcast. That tweet is missing info because he left things out purposely.

PHI is still looking at a window to win a couple of Super Bowls and changes to what has been successful creates uncertainty.Ultimately I think there shouldn’t be too much concern at this point. The game as we’re used to it is changing. Younger coaching talent has to be a part of that imo. Give them a chance to succeed, judge accordingly, they may just surprise the hell out of everyone. I think everyone will have enough results to crucify or praise them by mid season.
February 6Feb 6 Just now, pgcd3 said:They wanted him back as OL coach but not RGC.Yes, but in his contract it still had him as the RGC. So it technically still would’ve been in his title. The Eagles wanted him back to be the offensive line coach, but he didn’t want to come back due to sounding like being disrespected and no RGC besides he fact they’d have to amend his contract to take it or out just leave it.However, the only thing they mutually agreed upon when they parted ways was that when they were going to release the message at the same time saying that he was leaving. that didn’t even happen cause Stoutland jumped the gun because he was not on the same page as the eagle to send a message. Now McLane did say the players were frustrated and wanted to be more under center and do some other thing. That paragraph is accurate. However his paragraph about parting ways was more mutual for everyone involved for everyone is not exactly accurate as one side wanted him back as OL coach and the other was like I’m out

I don't think either of them will ever play at 100% again, maybe closer to 90% on a good day.

Pressure on sirianni and team to perform better on offenseGee...what a surprise...where is our resident troll and his laughing emoji defending Sirianni and laying all the blame elsewhere on everyone else...zero credibilityThis is exactly what is going on... Sirianni is being cut out or minimized in decision making so it will be easier to remove him. I thought it was very peculiar at the start of the OC hiring process that the public notification was recalibrated to include mention of Sirianni leading the process...that was just cover for Lurie/Howie. He is dead man walking if Mannion shows any level of competency early on...it is not going to be necessarily a bad start that removes Sirianni ...it is going to be when the brain trust has enough confidence in all these new guys...the pieces are in place.
