All of our egos would take a hit thereI forget who I was having the conversation with on here a couple weeks ago, but said it looked like he came into the season looking out of shape. Even before he hurt his knee in training camp, he was out of shape from previous years. And it was going to be hard to get back into shape when you’re gonna miss time and you have a knee injury. He needs to come into camp in better shape. I think some of his issues on how he feels is because when you’re carrying an extra 20 to 30 pounds for 18 games it adds up.

He's cracking beers immediately after TC practices, meanwhile Myles Garrett doesn't even party in the offseason. You don't sit at the top of the pyramid, you fight to stay there.

He thinks Dean could stay. Kempski is alone in those ones, most other beats think Reed stays and Dean is gone. He also thinks Brown is gone.McLane has been one of the Eagles beats who thinks Brown stays.Battle of the beats.Brown leaving is almost an entirely media driven narrative. The only public statement we’ve seen Brown say in this whole saga was 4 months ago when he said he had no reason to want to leave PhillyBlankenship isn’t getting 20m$ a year. He isn’t getting 15m$ a year. I doubt anyone offers him much more than 10m$ a year… of that. We have 1 starting safety, and he’s a rookie. Keeping Blankenship for cheap makes WAYYYYY more sense than paying Nakobe an expensive deal so he can keep our first round pick on the bench.

He wasn't great later in his career but the fact he could actually still play at age 36 after Minnesota ran him into the ground is impressive.Either way, 7 all pro years, Rookie of the year, offensive player of the year, NFL MVP, 3 time rushing leader with a season over 2,000 yards is more than enough for the HoF.

Lurie where are you? How much is enough? Its unbelievable. Its def malpractice. If he retires it will be on Siri and the management. If Lane also retires and with Stout leaving Oline will be the most glaring need.

With bad knees anyway, it will have sucked hard all year. With tension all year around Stout, tension around the O performance and a new O system coming where he may not fit, it would make it easier for some players to think, eff that, I'm done.

February 6Feb 6 I think they will extend Jordan Davis to reduce cap hit and try to sign Reed but won’t go too high. Appreciate the football talk instead of the whining

Panama probably right now......I surf and want to be somewhere warm with waves. And same here, I'm 57, wife is 38. I figure between investments and Social Security, I can generate around 200k annually in retirement income. People ask if I'm crazy thinking about Central America....I say hmmm....live on a beach, buy a house for 300k or 400k, be able to surf, have the Mrs running around in a bikini, and to top it off....where does 200k mean more....the US or Central America?Central America is a lot safer than most Americans think, they pretty much lump it with the worst parts of Mexico and south America. Are they perfect, no, but no more dangerous than some places here in the US
February 6Feb 6 "Expectation he won't coach this season"This smells like the Eagles have it set up so he returns in 2027 if/when Fangio retires.

Thought that'd be Parker but maybe someone else on his staff

Add on they tried to acquire Justin Reid in free agency last year. They might think it’s better to just upgrade with the money rather than just pay Blankenship. As for Dean, I find it curious as to what kempski‘s reasonings were. But I made the hypothetical which I don’t think is very likely (think it’s like a 1% chance) that the eagles long-term thinking is baun’s last year here. And they’re going to trade him after 2026 (manageable to do so) that if they signed Dean, they could have Dean and Campbell as their guys going in 2027 and beyond. I still think he’s 99% gone.I'd rather just keep Reed, he already knows the system and team. Signing someone else is an unknown it doesn't always work out.
