He said he thinks there's going to be a lot of consternation among fans in March during free agency with just how many offensive spots they have to downgrade at to keep the defense together.

We have Goedert, Steen. Backup OT. Other than that I don't see it. Even if you're in the camp who thinks they will try to trade AJ, in the event that they did happen, it would not happen until after June. They couldn't do it until after then even if they wanted to.

So what other "A lot of positions on offense they downgrade in" could there be in March? Everyone else is signed to contract. He wasn't implying Lane would retire though, he was talking about letting guys go. So Lane doesn't even factor in to his point.

I just think EJ has such a bad read on Eagles matters.

Seriously though, you could write and publish an app that analyzes the various cap sites (scrape their data) and publish your own site that allows the football nuts like us to play with various scenarios. Charge a fair amount for a subscription and make some passive income...or better yet go full enterprise develop a complete app for the teams themselves and sell for big $ to make their lives easier. Hell you could even slip a bug in there for the DAL version that totally screws Jerry over.

I mean, anyone they would cut would cost them cap space. The first dominos to fall on offense will be AJ and maybe Barkley after next season, and Lane whenever he retires. We aren't cutting anyone and taking a massive 2026 cap hit.

I think all Brown needs is a heavy dose of crossing patterns that give him a chance of getting the ball in space and he'll be happy. He is so good with the ball that running one hook and sideline out after the next scrambled his brains. It scrambled all of ours into a Fire PC froth since week 3 or 4 . Imagine how frustrated he was?

I think it should be done right now.

Scenario 1: The team is as good or worse than last season. If that’s the case then he’s most likely canned.

Scenario 2: The team gets better (specifically on offense) and makes a deep playoff run. Then our OC who is credited for turning the offense around is a leading candidate to get a HC role. So in order to prevent the offense from nose diving again, we’d have to (more than likely) make the OC our HC.

Back to scenario 1: if there’s a laundry list of injuries then that could save Siri.

Back to scenario 2: The OC is someone not interested in being a HC. Kingsbury (I’ve heard he likes his life better as an OC) or Reich (older and may want to just do what he does best) could be options.

I work in automation & data collection in the supply chain and manufacturing industry so I am always looking for ways to take advantage of data we collect and feed into erp/wms systems. That's why I gravitated to the application approach for cap data. Software when developed properly can make life so much easier.
