Now, if he were an established quality starter, that’s a great young age with room to improve and a long runway. But for a QB with essentially zero extended playing experience and a learning curve in front of him? That’s ANCIENT.He’s worth more to us as a backup and a challenge for Hurts as a more traditional drop-back passer than he is to anyone else.So in other words he ain't worth crap.

They have been great and have been emphasized ever since the Andy Reid rea. It's apparent that the OL took a step back in 2025. Injuries and lack of seasoned depth played a significant hand in that outcomes. I anticipate that will be a major focus going forward. The Eagles had around 7 rookie offensive linemen under contract in 2025 - mostly residing on injured reserve lists and/or practice squad rosters Needless to say, they received little/no playing time against starting NFL opponents. Thus, it's really hard to assess what we have to look forward to. We may be sitting on a gold mine or need a complete refresh from ground zero. This needs to be addressed ASAP regardless of how long the existing starters remain. In any event, all of our present starters will probably be replaced within the next few years and their replacements will indeed need backups aa well.Be prepared to see alot of activity in this area over the next several years. If Stoutland is who we all continue to say he is, and his job is safe without a doubt, he needs to take at least 2 of those rookie lineman and turn them in to either A. starting caliber player or B. High end backup. He's done wonders getting the best out of top OL. I need to see him develop some prospects. Yes, I know Jordan Mailata.

If that wasn't true then Nick Foles wouldn't have held up a Lombardi trophy and outdueled one of the best to ever play the game. Coaches have an easier job when you have top tier QB's, but top tier QB's aren't always needed to be successful......Daniel Jones was talked about being MVP before he got hurt, Sam Darnold has a very strong chance to go to the NFCCG, who the F would have ever predicted Sam Darnold being a part of a teams success? Stop the BS - hire a knowledgeable, competent coordinator and this offense can thrive.....then that allows the defense to breath and not be relied on so much. Shore up the ST's as best as we can and we are still a solid team (healthy)

That’s just a fact. No other team in the nfl will hire the lesser 2 as OCs. So they’re viewed as not OC material all on their own
19 hours ago19 hr Josh Simmons didn’t just have an injury concern, he had some off the field concerns. He also left the team at midseason for personal reasons.

19 hours ago19 hr I'm by no means a draft guru but every once in a while I'll get fixated on a specific player at a position of need. This was Desean Jackson, Devonta Smith, and Nakobe Dean for me and I was ecstatic when they all got drafted. This year it might be Kenyon Sadiq. Let's just do a total 0 to 100 refresh of our TE room starting with a stud. He should be there at 23, hopefully

Which lane has also missed a game or two for mental health reasons (believe Brandon brooks did as well). so i don’t really hold that against him if he had a family emergency that we don’t know details about. Also point out Albert Breer mentioned Campbell’s other shoulder might need surgery (eventually and teams were also concerns with his knee. So he wasn’t a clean prospect either. Why both fell.

Sadiq would transform TE and make the position a total weapon. Goedert collected TDs this year, but teams don't gameplan against him at all. On defense, David Bailey at edge. Give me one of those 2 in round 1 and I'm thrilled.

I'll check him out

They finally went linebacker in the 1st round and it’s not their normal approach. So maybe they do go TE and he’s best value at that point. However i still think this is going to be OL, DE/pass rusher or cb.In general, the Eagles are an interesting spot at 23. I can see them moving up a couple spots thinking this guy fell. We really love him. Let’s go get him with extra picks we’ve have. And I can also see them saying well we believe the draft at 18 to 40 has a bunch of guys we like graded similarly. Let’s move back a couple spots. Potentially get picks for later or future picks so that we have more capital in future years and we could keep building this team and adding to its core.
18 hours ago18 hr McDaniel meeting with Bucs for OC job today. When do we hear of Eagles visits?Don't want David Shaw. Liked him at Stanford but the biggest tell is that he is the passing game coordinator in Detroit and they don't seem all that interested in him as their OC

18 hours ago18 hr Going back to the 2nd Commanders game where all the backups played, I was quite pleased with Drew Kendall and thought he looked nice. I don't know what to think of Cam Williams, he didn't get the start and was thrown out there on the 3rd drive. He lunges forward quite a lot, and looked lost on a lot of his run blocks. He could grow a lot in the off season, but the FO needs to have a solid plan for backup RT because at this point it is an essential position with the way the roster is constructed.

It took a long time for that to come out, and it sure seemed like a mystery to the team for a bit.
