Thursday at 03:08 PM4 days I know PFF isn't the best but Steen did grade out pretty wellDo you think we go OL, DL, CB, or other in round 1?
Thursday at 03:14 PM4 days Per Tony Pauline"While Eagles fans hoped the team would scoop up Becton, I’m told the interest isn’t mutual from the organization.”

Thursday at 03:16 PM4 days Breaking news: There appears to be a substantial market for a top 5 WR who is only 28, and has a reasonable contract that doesn't expire until 2029.

Thursday at 03:34 PM4 days Steen was a poor fit for our 2022-2025 offense.Hes a perfectly good starting OG for a more traditional offense.

It was blatantly clear from the start he was nowhere near 100% and honestly a mistake by the Eagles not to address that early on properly just like they did with aome other players (Dickerson and Cam).Who is saying this?

The secondary philosophy with the Birds is S centric. Well, idle of the field centric. And every time they have had to go with slower Ss, it shows cracks. I would argue the biggest need for the team on defense may well be at S this offseason. If speed wasn’t an issue at the position, Sam would have made the team. Please spare me any Ringo to S posts. Right now they have Mukuba coming off an ankle break, Brown and Sam. Maybe Carter but not at his size and salary.

He was a solid starter. The issue with the Eagles offensive line last year was less about how good or poor he was but more the four other guys were getting paid good money didn’t live up to what we’ve known and come accustomed to. I think steen gets a lot of of what Isaac seumalo got when he was with the Eagles where he wasn’t a good/great as others so he was viewed negatively. Not going to have 5 pro bowl OL every year nor do you need that. Can be good if mailata, jurgens, Dickerson and lane play to their normal level and steen is average or solid

Maybe Carter but not at his size and salary.I agree safety is important in this defense, but this team needs to start turning over the offensive side of the ball to being cheaper and younger and after spending multiple drafts using the best picks on defense, it needs to go back to the offensive side of the ball now ideally. Or at least a premium position, which safety is not. You can find safeties. And drafting one would essentially be a replacement for letting Blankenship leave, which is always bad roster construction. Opening up a hole and then using a top pick to fill the hole you created yourself.

Makuba is fine there but look what Emmanwori did for the Seahawks. I get o-line, that most likely happens. But McNeil-Warren is going to be a stud.
Thursday at 04:04 PM3 days I’d like to be wrong but I don’t think Mukuba is going to stick as a starter here.

I would also suggest that one of the top players in the draft is a S this year. Let’s look at offensive players. Other than TE, you are probably looking at back up players. Maybe a starting slot. Not a great draft for OT. Not sure any OT worth a first is available at 23. Entire OL is returning though so unless Lane’s foot injury derails that, you are looking at a back up this year. Decent day three TE draft this year. Maybe Sadiq in the first. Unless Brown is traded, I doubt a first round WR. I think all three of those positions get drafted.Look I will always be a BPA guy. That could be a S or OLB and I have no issue with that. Maybe even a #2 CB.
