I think it's WIP and Mike Silver who is a 49ers stooge nonsense but all the more reason to bring in a strong OC regardless

Very well could be. It also feels like Patullo is airing out some dirty laundry here and there to defend himself. It will be interesting to see if he goes somewhere else, how much more of stuff like this will come out.

Impressive athlete, not the biggest but I like the way he delivers the ball.

Me too. Throws a very nice ball.

hard to complain if we win a SB in every loop

So Harbaugh isn't necessarily the Giants coach after all?

What do you mean? He accepted their offer yesterday.

I'm ready for the KP documentary. Hurts is limited, but we've been to 2 SB within those limitations. The amazing thing to me is most QBs have limitations but he's been good enough to win 2 NFCC and one SB compared to QBs with limitations like Lamar, Goff, Dak, Allen, etc.

If Hurts has to go, he has to go. If we are left with McKee, another career back up behind him, and a mid round QB pick in the 2026 draft, that would not be great. Go ahead and trade Hurts, but the replacement plan has to be better than 3 back up QBs.

WIP was talking about trading Hurts today, which just like AJ Brown is not really feasible cap wise. Hurts even more so than Brown.

Unless you can get a team to take the bonus, it's been done but will take value off the trade

Or I thought I saw a WR this year rework his current deal with bonus so he could be traded. Want to say Tee Higgins maybe?

Id move Hurts in a heart beat. Give McKee a year to see what he can do, if nothing maybe we can be bad enough to be in the Manning sweepstakes

Crazy take by Hugh Douglas, absolutely crazy. No doubt that Hurts has limitations, as does every QB in the NFL. But it starts with coaching, period. If that wasn't true then Nick Foles wouldn't have held up a Lombardi trophy and outdueled one of the best to ever play the game.

Coaches have an easier job when you have top tier QB's, but top tier QB's aren't always needed to be successful......Daniel Jones was talked about being MVP before he got hurt, Sam Darnold has a very strong chance to go to the NFCCG, who the F would have ever predicted Sam Darnold being a part of a teams success?

Stop the BS - hire a knowledgeable, competent coordinator and this offense can thrive.....then that allows the defense to breath and not be relied on so much. Shore up the ST's as best as we can and we are still a solid team (healthy)

Can you explain why Moore last year tried his offense sheme, Hurts was failing so after the bye week they had to change back to Nick's scheme and run 65% to win? Let's be honest, other then 2-3 games last year, Hurts was not good.

Hurts was NOT good last year when Moore tried to install his scheme. Once again a good OC had to adjust to Hurts limitations during the bye week. We just lucked out the run game and Defense was so good. I give credit to Hurts for very good SB, helped D was dominating Mahomes. But give the man his credit where it's due. But the rest of that season was mediocre.

This year teams went heavy stopping the run knowing Hurts limitations would struggle our passing game.

Hurts IS a problem.

WIP gonna WIP

People have been trying to spin these narratives about Hurts his entire career. And it's always when they're losing, these "reports" come out of the woodworks.

Lots of his teammates go on public record to say good things about him. They don't have to do that. If they have problems with Hurts, they would give standard pat answers and move on. They praise him and support him.

He has limitations, we all see that. If some are frustrated that there are things he can't do as a QB or want more out of the offense that's one thing. It's another to attack his character, which again everyone from college and pro who's been a teammate and coach has praised him.

Eagles fans will refuse to believe players and coaches who directly say they like Hurts, he's a good leader, a winner, etc.

Then immediately believe anonymous "sources" that bash Hurts and spin gossip narratives. Like teenage girls believing every gossip, or Boomers falling for click bait on Facebook.

If Hurts were performing like Mahomes or Brady and they were "afraid" to criticize him that's one thing. Why do you think everyone in the Eagles organization would not criticize him or hold him accountable? What is wrong with these "leaders" then? Are they soft, weak leaders that they can't hold their QB accountable? That's their culture?

I miss when this (the oiriginal) board had topics. This one constantly floats back to the same Hurts talk. It's lame

Credit Siri for keeping the team together and issues in house. All are bought in except for AJ Brown. There is no doubt though, that NFL players who expressed their frustration with the offense (DeVonta Smith, Jordan Mailata) can also see what role the QB has in that. Of course, they are professional and elite tier teammates who will not throw their QB under the bus in locker interviews.

You didnt hear those guys say a bad thing about Patullo either. That does not mean he wasnt an issue.

You have a team built to contend. You people need to come back to reality. They aren't blowing up the salary cap to trade Hurts woth a team built to contend.

Need to hope the Eagles can successfully land a great OC like McDaniel and enjoy seeing an offense schemed and coaches by someone that knows what they are doing.

For years people said the "blog" is enlightened talk, not like TATE. I guess since the new board and less people everyone just posts here, but it's no different in here. Believing every click bait by WIP is classic TATE.

Offense is limited by Hurts but there's really nothing that can be done yet 🤷‍♂️

Also this is a perfect time for people to switch to bluesky since x keeps acting up

If Hurts can not run Kellen Moore's offense, not a prayer he can run McDaniel's offense.

Monroe Freeling is my #1 target so far in the 1st round.

Did I dream that we won the SB less than 12 months ago scoring a record number of points in the playoffs?

With a top 10 all time rushing season, after the O-Line had to go to the coaching staff and plead to go run heavy as the QB was not getting it done.

Is Twitter down? How am I supposed to get my nothing burger updates on the OC search?
