It would take about 4 games into 2026 to really regret that one.

Yep. That is such an easy pass for me. Collect the compensatory 3 and thank him for his service.

Reese is definitely more impactful. Styles moved from S to LB. One of the reasons I’m not really thrilled to see him mocked to DAL so frequently.

It reminds of a similar dude that arz picked years ago. From clemson maybe?

Isiah Simmons

This LB class is insane though. Other guys who can play also had awesome runs.

Agreed. Strong debut, but then slowly disappeared and never really made much of an impact after that. I'd be curious to see what it would take to get Thibodeaux from NYG.

Josh Sweat at 4 years $76 million or Jalaen Phillips at 4 years $100 million and losing a 3rd round pick.

YUCK

True but the pick becomes a bit of a wash if we get a 3rd rd comp for Phillips. Still though, I'd rather have kept Sweat like you said.

Big day for Charles Demmings. CB with good size out of Stephen F Austin.

Toledo also has 2 more nice CBs.

Julian Neal is a solid CB with good size. Probably a mid round guy who could likely solidify himself on to day 2 with a good workout.

Would love to see Toriano Pride be really fast.

Also think Chandler Rivers will be really fast.

I just want to see decent enough workouts from guys like Cisse, Chris Johnson, Keith Abney, and Hezekiah Masses.

Washington has a pair of big CBs. One of them is 6'3'' but looks too slow. The other I think can play a bit and has the best name in the draft. Ephesians Prysock. Would like a good workout for Prysock.

IF he walks. That's fine. But if they sign him to that deal You're paying more money and out a 3rd rounder when you could have kept the better, homegrown player for less money.

Are Andre Fuller and Julian Neal the only 2 CBs who showed up over 200lbs?

Saw an article yesterday that said if an NFL fan wanted the ability to watch/stream any game it’s going to cost a total of $800/yr in the near future. It won’t be long and salary cap will be 500m. I can’t wait for that, QBs will get 150m/yr…crazy.

Pretty much all the safeties of interest are at least 6'0'' 200lbs.

Only Bud Clark is slim as expected at 6'1'' 185lb and I dont really care.

Haulcy is 6'0'' 222. Will be interesting to see how he moves today.

Rodriguez did better than I expected, ran in 4.5s with good jumps - now that’s paired with great LB play.

And the NFL will complain about the rise of illegal streaming.

Heck, I did it for a game this year as the NFL wanted $25 to stream a game and I didn't have Gamepass; not worth the money.

I'm only ok re-signing Philips at that price if we're willing to trade Nolan Smith.

Azeez Ojulari cost $3 million (1.6 cap)- played 67 snaps 0 stats

Josh Uche cost $1.9 million (1.3 cap)- played 244 snaps 1 sack

Za'Darrius Smith cost $4.25 million (1.1 cap AND 1.6 cap)- 131 snaps retired 1.5 sacks

BG cost $1.1 million (1.1 cap)- came out of retirement played 114 snaps 3 sacks

Ogbo cost $1.5 million (1.5 cap)- played 4 snaps 0 stats

Jaelan Phillips cost $1.5 once acquired 417 snaps 2 sacks

$8.1 million plus a 3rd rounder trying replace Josh Sweat in 2025.

977 snaps 7.5 sacks

Josh Sweat's 2025 cap was $7.3 million

540 snaps 12 sacks

I still think Howie played the 2025 offseason all wrong.

They still would have needed to bring in at least 1 guy for depth, a guy like Uche, but still. Josh Sweat's contract is looking like a MF steal.

Right, I think it's a pretty easy decision to let him walk, hopefully Howie agrees.

He's a stud. There are so many fun LB that I'd love on this team.

I hate the way these posts frame the phrasing. "Keeps linking" makes it sound like he's heard insider info that they'll draft him. Actually, the reporter asked about WRs in this draft that would fit a specific set of skills he listed, and DJ answered with 2 players. He goes fishing then makes it sound like it was DJ pushing the idea.

I think the OSU duo, Rodriguez, Perkins and Trotter all look better than Campbell did last year.
