Saturday at 05:05 AM2 days This is a guy McShay loves. Said he’ll be a contributor to a winning team for a long time. Monster blocker. Weird that he has such short arms. Would be a nice addition if we add a legit starter in FA.
Saturday at 05:21 AM2 days Great size at 6-5 and 260 but the production - only 2 touchdowns all year ?

In real life other players are moving faster and at some point that becomes an issue. If you watch him, he's so tall his legs are a huge target. And he had 0 survival instinct. He doesn't protect himself/legs at all. Just allows tackles to chop him down. Despite his size there is 0 yards after contact. Just looks like he's going to allow the defense to blow out his knees on every tackle. I absolutely hate watching him play. TE3? Ok. But we better have a better plan at TE than just this guy.

Saturday at 02:13 PM1 day Good vid here talking about a lot of the TEs we are interested in. They state Sadiq vs Stowers- Sadiq is "an infinitely better blocker". "I thought Stowers was one of the worst TE blockers I have literally ever seen". If Howie stands by his word, Im not sure Stowers will be in consideration. Now, Stowers is a former QB who has been adding weight. He played thinner and probably ran faster. He asks, do you have him lose some weight and be a big WR who is then probably a 4.4 guy? They also get in to Roush, Klare, and Delp. Thieneman and McNeil-Warren..
Saturday at 02:15 PM1 day @Sack that QB you stated yesterday how youre not getting fooled by workouts by TEs...75% of pro bowls and all pros at TEs are the elite athletes.

Can be any player you want. But no guarantees for success. What would you pick?I would pick:C) People post about 40 times in the blog constantly so I can see you whine about it
Saturday at 02:25 PM1 day In the vid I posted, they are now talking about Theineman moving in to the top 15 range. Said the bengals told him he is in play at 10. Feels like his floor will be 18 to the Vikings.McNeil-Warren average athlete. Makes you wonder if he just guaranteed he will be available at the eagles pick. And... do they take an average athlete at S in round 1?
Saturday at 02:32 PM1 day Ill throw this out there. Stukes was a guy I thought was a CB and I liked as a CB who worked out as a S yesterday. He can/has played both. He is a big nickel, or a safety. He ran a 4.33 with good size. He is a little bit older of a prospect. If he is your pick at safety, you kinda also have a backup for DeJean on the roster too should we need a nickel fill in at any point due to injury.Stukes has one of the best INTs ever.

But no guarantees for success. What would you pick?B if it’s a hypothetical that I can communicate with Howie lmao.Hand picking any one player every single draft would lead to much more success than JUST the playoffs. You’d be able to save so much money in FA/Re-Signing players. For example instead of extended an AJ Brown we’d just draft a Marvin Harrison Jr, Jamar Chase every 3-4 years. QBs, just taking Burrow, then trading him on a franchise tag for a bunch of picks, and drafting the next top QB, trading him for a ton of picks when his deal is up. Same goes for WRs and Pass Rushers.Technically we could just steal all of the QBs and hoard Burrow, Lawrence, Stroud, and Daniels to hold them hostage for draft capital, whilst never worrying about backup QBs lol.So we’d save on the most expensive positions, not getting old, having an average of 2-3 1st round picks per year, while filling in the gaps and using $$$ savings for high value FA Re-signing/acquisitions and having insane depth.

I just don't want them only athletes. I also think few of them end up being worth first rounders. Can't justify taking a TE in round 1 in this draft when you could address so many other positions.

Obviously as a UH fan, I probably have seen as much of him as any other college TE. Doesn’t drop passes. Decent routes. Decent at shielding with his body. His blocking needs work but he is a willing blocker. But deadly in the red zone. If the Eagles grab two TEs, wouldn’t mind if he was one of them.

Coaches out here rave about him. I think he should transition to safety as he’ll never be able to be an outside corner. Nickel he could try but i still think his end game is at safety. with his traits (good tackler and ball skills) and talent i think he’d be a better safety at the nfl

Maybe some move him to S2.If the Bengals are considering him at 10 then they have him ranked higher.

Howie has never taken a safety in round 1 and not only that but has passed on multiple opportunities to. Aside from special teams and FB, I don't think there's a position Howie is less likely to take in the 1st round than safety. I think he'd take RB in the first round before he took a safety.
