Saturday at 11:06 PM1 day Dont know who Kendrick Law is but he is rocked up like a RB with a solid 4.46. Ill have to check him out. I hope hes a tackle breaker. One of my sleepers. Rivers from Georgia Tech with a 4.37. Nice.
Saturday at 11:10 PM1 day Stribling is a guy I dont know why he isnt talked about at all. Very solid size 6'2'' 207 and a 4.39. I dont get it. He looks really good.
Saturday at 11:13 PM1 day yep. 4.28 for my boy Zavion Thomas. Go find his blocking highlight on youtube too. Full package. Returner too. Want.
Saturday at 11:15 PM1 day I think I want Howie to use every pick on WRs in this draft. What a great WR draft.

Saturday at 11:20 PM1 day Pretty good time for Antonio Williams. He does look fast on tape, yet there is a lack of explosive playmaking. He catches, and he is tackled. Maybe the throws arent leading him to space enough. Have to go back and pay attention to why he isnt in more space with that speed.
Saturday at 11:20 PM1 day Just now, HazletonEagle said:ok. All WRs and 1 QB.I just think this transition is going to be a rough one. I think the runway to implementing the new system, then needing to find a new QB, develop the new qb...that runway extends beyond the rookie contrast of any WR in this class. So I just can't get excited about it.

Purdy is not a special player. He looks great in a shanny offense. Daniel Jones stinks but he just had a career year when put in that offense. The list is growing of so so QBs who are made better by the system. So if Hurts cant do it, it seems it wont be too hard to replace him with someone who can. It requires processing that Hurts doesnt have, but it also creates easy throws. So, any smart QB even if he is physically limited has a chance. No Drew Allar... But Nussmeier, or Altmeyer... McKee... cooking with fire.

But Thomas is the kind of WR I'd love to see them draft. Will not cost a premium pick. Could be the first interesting returner we've had in forever. Is a weapon with the ball in his hands...and, it seems, our new offense could really use that sort of thing. A WR that you want to scheme the ball into their hands underneath who can also be developed as a deep threat would be a great fit for the new offense...even if they are limited to those two functions and are not as diverse as Devonta Smith.

I just wanted to see what he would run because you could see that speed. Hes small AND skinny. Im not sure if he is an NFL player. He may be a part time player like Xavier Worthy at best.Thomas is a beaut. He contributes in numerous ways. Hes not the biggest, but hes strong enough at 190. He fits the mold Solak said to watch for- inside/outside versatility. Hes a move around guy like a Jayden Reed who you can give the sweeps to. Hes a really interesting guy and even in the all star weeks, his teammate got more of the publicity. Thomas is somehow flying very under the radar.I have a whole bunch of WRs in the IWTETG section that are not 1st rounders. Many may not be 2nd day guys. Theyve all done well at the combine. There is depth for all 3 days of the draft in this WR class. It is GREAT.
Saturday at 11:29 PM1 day Another example, Eric Rivers just posted two 4.3s. Eagles met with Antonio Williams who is a 2nd rounder. Watch him. And watch Eric Rivers. Tell me what difference there is other than a bunch of draft rounds in between them. Reason? beats me.

But that role doesn't have to be a 4.5 200lb+ WR. Thomas takes handoffs, could run screens, and could be that guy they just feed the ball to in space underneath. What he lacks in physicality, he'd make up for 2x over in speed.

He was also tough and almost always got up from big hits. Then you have Worthy who can easily be pushed off his line and I wonder if thats what Thompson will be at his weight.
Saturday at 11:44 PM1 day I may have posted Emmanuel Henderson in here. I know I have a thread for him. Go watch him run tough after the catch. Hes 6'1'' and ran a 4.44 and maybe my favorite toughness after the catch guys in the class. Tell me how he is an afterthought behind guys like Surratt and the like ranked way above him. He also returns kicks and punts.
