March 7Mar 7 If Im Howie and the Patriots want AJ, then I want a first and a second, plus Christian Gonzales.

The difference is that Dallas gets media hype far more frequently and is talked about nationally as if they aren't a clown show. But we talk about the clown show of Dallas more than the clown show of Cincinnati because they are more relevant to the Eagles. If this were a Steelers message board, I have no doubt it would be quite a frequent topic.

I don't like a big contract for him with his production and injuries. At the same time or depth there is nonexistent so it'll feel rough to lose a solid player too...

I'm starting to wonder if he is being overvalued by Howie and co. It sounds like they need him at all costs as if he's Crosby or a top DE in the league. As you said, he's not that and there's a little concern with the injury history.

Solid against the run and a great fit in Vic’s system and the locker room. I think he wore down at the end, he had no bye week this year. He’s a double digit sack guy here if he’s able to play with us the whole season
March 7Mar 7 The Jalen Carter trade smoke is real. Multiple people have brought it up.Could just as easily be Howie saying "you might get that money somewhere else, but you won't be as happy as here"

Still I like his general contribution all the way around

What other options would you consider?

But I don't love paying big money to a guy without many sacks.
