He should probably get some credit for Blankenship.

Would they restructure if they thought they might be traded? Maybe I’m misunderstanding the scenario.

Lawyers for Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss sued the NCAA in Mississippi court on Friday, seeking one more season of eligibility with the Rebels.

Someone in the Eagles called Jeff and told him to shut up, you’re making Sirianni look bad

I’m saying restructure other players to trade someone else. It’s pretty common practice.

This doesn’t apply to this specific situation but if a player wanted out, we’ve also seen them open to restructure to help facilitate it as well.

He was a UDFA. If the last 4 years is all we get from him, I would still say he exceeded expectations and coaching deserves some praise for it.

Ok, yeh I get that, I misunderstood.

I suspect we’ll be hearing more of Daboll and an official interview eventually. Just want that report of the McDaniel interview so I can allow myself to get excited. But if the Eagles really want him I won’t be surprised if they’re the last team to interview him kinda like they were with Chip Kelly. They get the last word and try to close the deal.

Who are people's rooting interests for the rest of the playoffs?

I'd probably rank it:

  1. Bears

  2. Rams

  3. Broncos

  4. Bills

  5. Patriots

  6. 49ers

Would be good to see a team that has never won a SB get it done. That would be BUF or HOU, I'm pulling for HOU in that case.

I'm good with either but feels like Buffalo isn't going to get it done. Houston's D is so good they can afford their QB and O to fully F up, up to 3x a game and still win.

Hope Buffalo and Houston get Ws this week. And Seattle and the Bears.

So if you want to make money, put your trust in me and call my tip line "1 800 The Other Way" and just do the opposite of what I advise.

Bills would usually be 1 or 2 for me but dropped a lot for being huge hypocrites this season

This is a sketchy one. Does anyone remember th interview ~November where a reporter asked if he wanted to play somewhere else, and AJ balked and asked when had he ever intimated he didn’t want to stay in Philly… and then Devonta behind him chirped in and said "why wouldn’t he want to be here?” Which AJ agreed with him

2 hours ago, LeanMeanGM said:

I’m saying if the reports are true he already asked for a trade multiple times during the season

It will be interesting if this gets confirmed by other sources. If he was serious about requesting a trade, I am sure it will get confirmed elsewhere. It's not like there's an advantage for him to keep it quiet.

If you believe "sources" that Hurts is a bad teammate/locker room problem, refuses to do certain things and the entire organization is scared to criticize him, and that AJ Brown is a diva who demanded a trade 3 times this season...

...what does that say about the culture of the organization, the leadership of CEO Nick Sirianni, the stability of the front office under Howie Roseman and Jeffrey Lurie, and the presence of fixer Big Dom?

So they're all failures? Cowards who can't hold players accountable? What kind of ship are they running?

People can have disagreements in a workplace. The team won 11 games. It's not like it was a losing organization. They were winning games but just unable to fix persistent problems. I am sure there were times when Jalen was stubborn about issues. I doubt they were afraid to talk to him.

It doesn't seem like AJ is the source for the story, unless they wanted to burn that bridge:

Brown may not be that guy any longer. He has been disgruntled all season. He does not have the speed to create separation from a defender anymore, and despite his complaining about getting the ball, he suffered from a spate of drops this season that were highly uncharacteristic of him. A bold case in point came in the Eagles’ 23-19 Wild Card round playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

F' em all! I'll watch the games but I could care less. Focus squarely on OC and March Madness

This. But the Philly media and national media are relentless. They’re not going to stop calling for a trade until it happens. And when it doesn’t happen, they’ll start it back up again during the season until the deadline. Wash and repeat.

I’m going Texans, they play defense, never met a Texans fan, and it seems funny that the boys might play second fiddle in their own state.

Leave it to the sixers to really twist the knife on a crap sports day in Philly
