That would make me happy. Trade with Minn or sign Chubb, get the safety from the Bears, and take BPA the entire draft. The team will be better with a lot of young talent.

I'm not sure if Goedert affects cap space or not. Dead cap is different than cap hit. Not sure which Goedert's entails.

Also, I did not expect the Eagles to spend 12 million on a corner but they must really like Woolen's upside. I don't think that's a bad contract at all I just didn't expect them to shop in that market so I just assumed the deal would be for 8-10 million with heavy incentives to potentially get to 15.

Bowen is an extremely uneven Twitter follow, but he’s nailing his offseason eval so far. Collecting comp picks at the expense of selectively investing in your current roster (cap constraints I get it, but we have some flexibility, as we just saw with Woolen) sounds a hell of a lot better in March than it does in September when you're trying to figure out what TF to do with Kelee Ringo.

Managing free agency because you are concerned with 5th and 6th round comp picks seems like a stupid way to run a team. I get not wanting to cancel out a 3rd round comp pick but otherwise who gives a crap.

My only reasoning to think the league & NFLPA might try to get involved is overreach, it's considered a blockbuster trade and the league office seems to stick their nose in/control/influence everything they want/can and the NFLPA to make sure the league isn't doing anything nefarious and to make sure they get to express their position on whatever situation is at hand. But, yeh other than that it's a nothing burger, just follow the trade guidelines like normal.

This year’s 12-15 million is probably 2025’s 8-10 million.

Next year’s 15-18 million will probably be 2025’s 8-10 million. 😆
