But we’ll likely continue to have dead money if we restructure contracts and move players before their contract isn’t upside down (Huff). That’s why an AJ Brown move is extremely unlikely - unless it’s after June.

Yup. There"s definitely a lot of work to be done here the rest of this offseason. I am gonna see what he does in the trade market and draft. But he has to find some gems here in the 3rd wave which could somewhat save him. Yeah, last year's offseason of inheriting a potential dynasty is not faring well as of now. This team here was lined up for a potential 3peat in my mind if you just push the right buttons. There was no one in their class. Seahawks shouldn't be winning Jack if Eagles were doing what they were supposed to. It's all excuses in here. He has to do better than he has in the last year. C minus overall.

Right now the best edge rushers left in free agency are AJ Epenesa, Arnold Ebiketie, and Joey Bosa. Getting an impact edge rusher is a ship that has sailed and even getting quality depth pieces could be an issue. Nolan Smith is a walking jury too so depth is important at this position.

Wonder how much better we all feel if our top 5 paid offense actually performed to 60% of their potential.

Thank you for keeping it real. It's not only massively disappointing to follow an off-season blueprint that failed in 2025, but it's downright perplexing. I wasn't expecting Howie to go crazy in free agency nor did I think he needed to. That being said, I didn't think it was too much to ask to sign an impact edge rusher, and a quality starter at S and TE. Right now we have NONE of those things and options are dwindling fast. But hey, we brought back Grant Calcaterra.
