Guys will come off, other guys will go on. We still have James Bradberry and Slay taking up $20M in dead cap for 2026. They will come off but then a guy like AJ Brown, Lane Johnson, Saqoun Barkley and Zach Baun will be added.
Wednesday at 10:08 PM5 days If Goedert is pushing back his free agency then they expect to get something done. Why would he let other TEs take all the deals until Friday otherwise?

Letting everyone walk and signing nobody to replace them except clearance rack items. You do realize that no team has infinite money?

Wednesday at 10:18 PM5 days Hopefully this means we can atleast post june1 that cap hit though I would definitely consider brining him back with everyone else signed. Other then that I would try and trade for Mayer and draft a te fairly high

He's just pushing back the void date.

There is absolutely money to sign players. I'm not asking them to sign Hendrickson to a stupid deal but Chubb for example at 13 million was super affordable and so was Reed at 8 million. If they end up with Greenard, Brisker, etc I will eat my words but this stinks of last year's failed off-season plan and the one guy they gave a little bit of money to is a big risk.
Wednesday at 10:24 PM5 days Without salary modification, Greenard's contract is a 2Y deal at 19M for 2026 and 2027. I get the Vikes wanting a day 2 pick for that as that's very reasonable. At the same time, if he wants an extra 10M then that compensation on longer makes sense. He also didn't like dropping in Flores' scheme and he'll have to do that with Fangio (albeit less).

The tight end market is pretty dried up and by the time we get to Friday there might not be any starting level guys left. You would think this is a mutually agreed upon move to work towards an extension. Something like two years, 15-20 million would be a really good signing for the Eagles and not bad for Goedert either.

I'm not giving up a 3 for him after just giving up a 3 for Phillips.
