It’s funny, all this week the media screams that the main issue wasn’t Patullo……who is calling Patullos agent right now and lining up interviews? I’m glad he’s gone, but interested to see if he fades off as a position coach like Brian Johnson did….man what a dumb decision. I don’t know why we didn’t make changes mid season, no one knows what difference it would have made, but it would have made the "one and done” easier to deal with

People said this years schedule was going to be "brutal" and i always argued it wasn't.

Next year will actually be tough, especially this offense against some tough defenses. Thankfully they get most of those at home.

I'm not trying to show a better OL coach. I'm saying he shouldn't be immune to criticism and for as great as he is, I need to see more from a development standpoint. This is a big year. 7 OL were on the roster who were rookies. We need to see one or two of them become contributors. Can't keep depending on the highest paid OL in the league.

No one is saying he is immune. Thats a total strawman.

But he has a track record and immense credibility. Dont be contrarian just to be one

The good news is the Cowboys and Commies schedules are tougher because I believe Eagles caught a pretty big break getting the Panthers and Steelers next season instead of the Bucs and Ravens. What makes it tough(ish) is playing the NFC West, but our entire division does.

Joe Kuharich

Rich Kotite

Matt Patricia

Juan Castillo (as DC)

I will be at the Niner game. For anyone wanting to fly in for that one; a couple of tips. September/October is the best time to visit and the weather is at its warmest. The fools that built Levis stadium left a large swath of seats without shade and it gets unbearably hot. Do you research before purchasing seats.

Then I will plan to fly out for either the Cowboys/Rams/Titans.

Of course what I really want is for the Penn State whiteout game to coincide with a Eagles home game...yup.

Eagles apparently interviewed Mike Kafka.

The Packers interviewed Christian Parker in 2024 before hiring Hafley btw.

I said 3 months ago Kafka was the likely next guy. Not my choice now but would be a very eagles like pick. If McDaniel gets a HC gig then I think I'd want Kingsbury next

I have no idea what teams see in this guy. Must be a helluva interviewer.

Wouldn’t be excited about Kafka either.

This was in response about McDaniel…

LOL.

Said yesterday I wouldn't be shocked if McDaniel gets the last OC interview with the Eagles and they try to close the deal. Like they did with Chip after he flirted with the Browns first. Also McDaniel is a minority candidate as well so they could just hire him on the spot if they wanted.

Tbh I kind of think the lions make the most sense for McDaniel if he doesn’t get a HC job. It sets up very similar to what he had in Miami. Except Goff is better than Tua. As much as I like McDaniel being our OC it’s not exactly an ideal fit. add on if the eagles have to deal aj brown (who knows right now and financially it’s not good to do it) and goedert leaves then you also take a hit at the weapons you have with this offense

Kafka.......ewwww.

NFC - go Bears. AFC - go Texans.

The Bills DESERVE NOTHING. Don't forget their midget Leprechaun of a HC wanted the Tush Push banned because "it could have increased injuries". BUT YET, said HC lets his All-World QB run like 3 QB sneaks a game. Hypocrite much, McDummit??!!

Not Juan Castillo. There is a much longer conversation that I don't want to get into now, but Juan's defense was top 15 across the board and top 10 in many important categories. With no offseason and arguably the worst back 7 in football. I agree it was a mistake to move him direct from OL coach to DC. But it was very far from Patulloesque.

I'm of German and Italian decent. Would I meet the stupid Rooney Rule criteria?? 🧐🙃

Lions definitely are the biggest contender with the Bucs lurking, but money does talk and after the season the Eagles had on offense, I think Lurie is gonna be highly motivated to get "his guy" and I think he would outbid anyone for McDaniel if that's his guy. We'll see if he ends up being his guy and if money does talk for McDaniel.

To me it will be a black mark on Sirianni’s Eagles career. Put himself above the team

HUGE issue with McDaniels and Kingsbury. I just heard Adam Kaplan say (day old podcast?) that BOTH have their own O line coach.

Likely deal breaker?

And frankly, I would expect nothing less from a serious regime change on offense. Why the hell would I want your previous line coach if I have my own that is familiar with my concepts, even if it is Jeff Stoutland that would be replaced?

So far the head coaching searches are looking like:

Giants - Harbaugh

Dolphins - Hafley

Falcons - Stefanski

Ravens - Minter/Schula/Scheelhaase

Browns - Schwartz/Scheelhaase

Raiders - Flores/Brady/Schula

Cardinals - Saleh/Arthur Smith/Vance Joseph

Steelers - Flores/Saleh

Titans - McCarthy/Nagy
