I'm wondering if some will ask for the entire offense and we may just settle for another yes man

McDaniel is the best, proven NFL play designer and play caller on the list of likely candidates IMO. Hes also not built to be a head coach, pay him top dollar and let's get some continuity for a change

I could be just paranoid but we haven't interviewed any of the guys the media says we are interested in, yet those same guys are taking interviews.

The three guys they have interviewed are as meh as it gets. Are they really the "proven offensive minds” that they’re looking for?

The Eagles should interview Elizabeth Warren. Then the Rooney rule is out of the way.

2 birds one stone, and I don't mean that as her NA name

I did not realize that Tank is not a free agent until 2027. That is one bright spot in a very bad week.

I think an extension for him is an under the radar move this season. He'll be 25 heading in to the season. How long do we realistically think Saquon is here getting top dollar? Tank paired with another young RB in 2027 and beyond?

I dont even get what they are looking for at this point. I almost feel like.we got.lucky with Moore last season and they are clueless as to what they even want the offense to be

I’m glad Harbaugh is official so the media can stop tracking this thing like it’s Cuban Missile Crisis. The dude’s a good coach, nothing more.

Not at all surprised Cooter is getting interviewed. He feels like more of a slump buster than a high-end option.

I want a proven NFL play caller...someone who was in the league last year and has experience and success running an NFL offense this decade.

His face? His whole general demeanor?

Connor Hughes says Eagles will take an "extended look” at Daboll.

He's a dork.

Cooter, Kafka, and Robinson? Absolutely gross start to this OC search.

Go Bills.

Don't think he has any interest in an extension at this point. He barely played this season.

They could end up hiring Mike Mcdaniel tomorrow and this would all be moot. But yea...interviewing meh guys when all the reports are that they want to and need to swing for a big proven name...it speaks to the narrative of these coaches not wanting to tie their fortunes and scheme to Jalen Hurts at QB.

Feels like they are waiting to interview the guys who are still up for HC jobs. Or maybe those guys had the tightest schedules

Just speaks to them being the last team to the mix that is looking for an OC so those top targets that everyone is wanting to interview for OC and some HC were able to schedule their interviews first.

Running backs can be highly effective as rookies and are mid-prime by year 2. I don't think extending a 25 year old backup so that his 2nd contract money overlaps with Saquan's huge money is the way to go. They need to spend less money on offense, not more, IMO.

When the OL is rebuilt and the offense is ready and Saquan is done, they can go ahead and draft a RB.

And what will it speak to if they end up hiring Zac Robinson or Jim Bob Cooter?

Lets go Buffalo
