2 hours ago2 hr I’m sure he would prefer to play a few other places. My guess is he doesn’t think Hurts is all that great anymore, and frankly neither do I. I bet a lot of players in the NFL on truth serum would like to play other places though. They just aren’t as outwardly miserable. And I’m sure he’d be miserable again if he stays and the Mannion offense and/or Hurts sucks in 2026. But at that point the Eagles would have far greater concerns than Brown. They’d need a new coach and QB at that point and to start this thing over entirely.
2 hours ago2 hr Hurts sucks, it's all his fault. He should have thrown those three passes to AJ in the playoff game AND caught them so AJ didn't have to drop them.
2 hours ago2 hr My assertion all along was that as long as we get a decent WR2, Hurts is going to flourish in this new offense and can spread the ball around. Will no longer feel obligated to force feed passes to the Diva and make unforced errors. We all know how things went when AJ asked for the ball last season. Especially the Chargers game. Hurts did un-Hurts like things in that one game. I want to see Hurts where he uses all his weapons and is less predictable. I.E. Better coaching and everyone pulling in the same direction. Looked great in the home Giants game last year. So ready to watch Devanta as the clear number 1 and Hollywood, who will keep defenses honest going deep. We still need another threat, but today's signing was a good deal. EOD, last year, this offense sucked with AJ Brown as the so called number 1 receiver.

I think that's what people reference with recent takes. That’s fine but the specific time he went on WIP and made it beyond clear that it was all noise which Diehard was asking about was years ago. You can go back and listen because the energy and what he said back then was very different from what he said on Parsons podcast. You could tell he was irritated/annoyed about trade talk back then.

2 hours ago2 hr 21 minutes ago, NOTW said:To be fair, he said as I posted above that Philly is home & excited about the new coaches. There were some locker room interviews this year where he denied not wanting to be here.He also deleted his Twitter, and has been mostly quiet. We can interpret these as strategy from agents. But he's on record multiple times saying he wants to be here, and there are reports from "unnamed sources" that he asked to be traded during last season. We'll find out eventually what is true & isn't.Most people accept he'd be traded after next season regardless because of the contract and need to get younger and cheaper on offense, and he'll want an extension with guaranteed money.Or maybe after June 1st given the contract issues.Trading before June 1st is what many don't buy unless the trade package is worth it. And how much was frustration with Patullo who now is gone.To your last sentence, he defended Patullo MULTIPLE times including on the same Parsons podcast you are referring to. He never hinted at being frustrated with Patullo but instead went over the top to keep saying how great he was. I honestly believe he’s just saying things to help out the situation right now but privately would like to move on. It’s not a coincidence that since Lurie spoke to him he has had no outbursts, no negative quotes and deleted his Twitter.
2 hours ago2 hr AJ is giving Parsons coach speak because Lurie told him to shut up if he wants to get traded. Very obvious.

He's lost a step and his legs aren't what they use to be. He's on the decline
1 hour ago1 hr We had a good run of minimal Hurts talk for a while before the old man whiners resurfaced

I'm not sure Coop in the draft will be the answer. Look what happened when Tenn traded him and used the 1st to try and replace him. It feels like the Eagles would be doing the same thing. Hopefully, with better results, but I don't love it.

1 hour ago1 hr If AJ desperately wants to get traded to the Pats and they aren't ponying up does that make him feel great about New England? That they think his value is that bad.

Didn't GAF from what I saw.Same here, that was the final straw for me. He straight up quit on the Eagles in a playoff game. It makes me sick to my stomach to watch so called "Eagles fans" prioritize an individual player who did that and doesn't want to be here, over the team.

EOD, last year, this offense sucked with AJ Brown as the so called number 1 receiver.Smitty, Goedert, Brown, and a rookie WR or TE on day one or day two, along with Saquon and the run game is more than enough for this offense to be functional if the coaching is what we are hoping it can be. The same people who complain about how bad the offense was last year will say that it would be so bad without Brown. Last time I checked he was there last season and was a big part of the problem being disinterested, dropping big passes, and quitting on the team in a playoff game. I realize it's a nuanced discussion and takes some actual critical thinking and problem solving skills, but the offense can be better in 2026 without Brown than it was in 2025 with him.

It’s not a coincidence that since Lurie spoke to him he has had no outbursts, no negative quotes and deleted his Twitter.I do agree that after Lurie talking to him he's been either quiet or saying the right things. I think we could all tell his frustration by his effort on the field the end of the season. He also voiced frustration with the offense, with the passing game, etc. this year and last. One really positive thing about the team culture is no on really throws others under the bus, they try to say the right things and not bash coaches or players. He may just be happier in an offense that he gets more production and feels like he can do more to dominate at the position. I could see him getting frustrated this past season and saying just trade me if it's going to be like this. He said on that live stream gaming thing don't start him in fantasy. He was open about his frustration with lack of production. We'll see. If it's not sooner, it will be after next season either way. Maybe after he's gone more reports will come out. That happened with Wentz, more players spoke about what things were really like after he was gone.
26 minutes ago26 min I have to say I think this has been an exceptional offseason from Howie and the franchise as a whole.I’m very negative about where I think the Eagles are in their lifecycle for this nucleus. But I think the way they’ve handled this offseason to maximize 2026 and the future has been a masterclass from start to finish.
