I just think there is a base of weapons here between Barkley, Bigsby, Smitty, Hollywood and Goedert that we should be pretty good. Plus what they get for AJ and any draft picks. Looking for more speed added and ingenuity in the coaching. I honestly think AJ is on the decline and a major risk physically and emotionally to the entire offense. He needs to be the clear number 1 somewhere. Pats is a good fit. I also blame Sirianni for always making it clear that this passing offense goes through AJ and Smitty and that's it. It worked for awhile, but became totally predictable and stale. Always short changed WR3 and TE position. It was foolish. Became top heavy. Also should have used RB2 last year as a change up with Bigsby. Altogether, I doubt they do that same BS this year. There will be variety now and it will hopefully be drama free going forward. Will only help Hurts. Also the vibes and energy on the sidelines was off last year as Barkley mentioned several times.

Agree with a lot of that. I'd almost rather them not draft his replacement with the pick though. Get two of safety/OL/DL in round one.

We had a good run of minimal Hurts talk for a while before the old man whiners resurfaced

If the Eagles aren’t a top 10 offense this season Hurts will need to be the primary decision of the next offseason for the organization. He has to show he’s still the franchise QB. Rent will come due.

Harper and Schwarber have infected all these dudes with their inability to hit in big games

100x this.

I'd rather not trade him at all, but if they do...drafting replacements never, ever goes well. The best way to fill big shoes is to do it indirectly with other positions rather than forcing it. Look how the Titans did drafting AJ's replacement with the 1st rounder we gave them.

I love the Hollywood Brown signing. He should be a nice fit in the new offense with his ability to stretch the defense as well as run the short to intermediate routes. If healthy he is a passable number 2 WR with Smitty as the number 1. Hopefully they are able to draft a WR with one of their first three picks and I think they will be set at WR.

Yes, and now get our cheap AJ Brown in the first three rounds of the draft - Denzel Boston in the first or trade up to top of the second?

I guess rather than trying to swing big for an AJ replacement, I’d like to find complementary pieces for Smitty which kind of mirrors the WR depth at GB with the assumption that the ball can be spread around.

Sinners was pretty good and the Antifa movie had a hilarious 30 mins stretch in the middle with incredible direction

Good point - we had a pro bowl caliber TE and a WR3 with Dotson who could be a WR2 for other teams, and we didn't really use them.

I’d recommend all them - but honestly didn’t think any of them were Oscar material -or- better put… what would be nominated by the academy.

Vampire movie, witch movie and a silly movie.

Weapons was the most overrated piece of trash ever.

Same here, that was the final straw for me. He straight up quit on the Eagles in a playoff game. It makes me sick to my stomach to watch so called "Eagles fans" prioritize an individual player who did that and doesn't want to be here, over the team.

He had a bad game. He is still a top receiver in the League. The team is better with him than replacing him with some jag that tries hard.

He did not have a bad game. He was completely disinterested, lacked focus, gave a half assed effort, and flat out quit on the team.

A lot of competition there… in an eagles context, I don’t think Dreams and Nightmares even qualifies as music.

It's not a big game

Aaron Judge, for as good as he is, seems to come up small a lot

WIP can suck it with their "Harper isn't that good anymore" BS from today. Joe FN Decamara is the biggest FN nerd of all time and dude thinks he's a big deal.

Wow, way to take advantage of Harper trying up the game with one swing and giving a lifeless team all of the momentum.

Got some pro days this week… I’d like to see if Oscar Delp runs tomorrow at UGA.

He was CB4 the SB year.

Because Coop was the 3. Coop is great.

Maddox was playing really well in the slot in 2022 and then got hurt. He then came back for the playoffs and was playing well again. He was hurt in 2023 later in the year again. Hurt again last year. Guy just gets hurt all the time.

Maybe now he’s cooked from all the injuries but I still say his peak with the Eagles was good when healthy.

Not worth dying on the hill though I guess. 😂

The WBC should get a lot more attention than it does. I’m inclined to agree with those who say it should be played during a mid season break.

He really does. And it’s weird because he seems so even keeled. Maybe he gets nerves and hides it well or he just has bad luck.
