The Eagles need to establish the Jeff Stoutland Institute of Offensive Line Play (JSI-OLP). It could be a semi retired position for Stoutland and answer the needs of guys like rookie Mailata and Bernard. Maybe make it open to players not necessarily associated with the Eagles. Or maybe such a place already exists elsewhere, dunno.

There just seem to be guards in this draft that people are sleeping on. Everyone is focused on trying to find tackles that just arent there and there are so many seldom mentioned guards who are actually good.

Here is another who may be a gem.

Gives me hope they would be interested in 5'11'' Landon Robinson as well.

The Eagles love weird players like this. 15 years ago, they drafted players like this in the 1st and 2nd round. Now, they tend to limit it to scrap heap investments. But that guy figures to get some interesting leverage. As a starter, he's probably going to get worked by an OL. Situationally, he'll probably get under some pads and make a play or two.

That guy is shades of Mike Patterson, who I would argue was a bust despite all the games he started here. Patterson was awful the first few years of his career. He did not penetrate and generate pressure, which was the type of DT he was drafted to be. And the lowlight reel of him getting blown up against the run was ugly. And then he gained an enormous amount of weight and turned into an immobile fire hydrant to stabilize against the run for a few years.

Landon Robinson is a beast. But this guy also looks incredibly quick laterally off the snap and instantly in to gaps. Both intriguing late round guys.

big guy with just 31 3/5'' arms. Will play guard in the NFL.

Packers met with Harkey. Seems reasonable to pay attention to offensive guys the packers are looking at too if we will be running a version of that offense.

Flyers are in a playoff spot with 5 games to go.
