Over/under 3 years before he makes his next trade request.

He's got 3 good years left

Love AJ as a player and I appreciate his overcoming mental health issues. I wish him the best but I’m glad this is done. I’m sure that there will be things that get said and leaked out, and certain that the nimrods at WIP will blow it all away out of proportion, but hopefully things settle down by training camp and the team can focus and move on. I like some of the weapons Howie brought in too. I think Lemon is going to be a threat immediately and we can build around Smitty and him. Hollywood and Wicks will both be here and contribute as well.

I believe Lemon is going to be a stud

I was hoping forever this wouldn't happen but here we are....AJ is an arsehole for this and that is the first and last time I buy an active player's jersey....this SO did not have to happen and I was swearing up and down it wouldn't be a TO 2.0 and yet here we are.....SMH...

Bye ya bastid....I would wish you good luck in new england but I really do not feel like it.....

It must suck to wait over two months for your big day, only to be overshadowed by an even bigger trade news story.

Weird- I do not feel as good about it as I thought I would. He is a great player. I think he hates Hurts and wants a great QB,
not a half decent one. But then again, he wasn't even very happy about winning the Super Bowl, so there are mental issues
going on the whole time as well. I hope Lemon is as good as he looks. Spread the ball around. Hope for the best. So, onward
and upward, Eagles. And I won't miss his drama queen BS, either.

Absolutely, and he doesn't have that diva attitude of many WRs. It's easier to like him.

What stood out to me was 23 wc game at the bucs w no aj and rest of the team pretty much packedit in. DeVonta was still ballin out. That game told me all I needed to know (moreso than I already knew).

Thanks for the SB and GOOD RIDDANCE.

If he’s healthy, with Maye’s arm, he'll have 1,200-1,300 yard this year. Hopefully, he will slow down in 2027 and the pick we got will be decent in 2028.

If Devonta is healthy, he’ll get a lot more looks and could get 1,200 yards himself, even with Hurts.

I have to keep reminding myself that the guy is at or near 30 and he's towards back end of his career (unless he turns out to be a Jerry Rice/Cris Carter type that plays until he's 40).

My real concern is that Slim isn't a true #1 and he probably won't be as effective without a guy like AJB on the other side. Hopefully I'm all wrong about this and I'd be glad to eat my crow. Please prove me wrong, DS.

Smith already has a 1200 yard season with Hurts, well 1196 but still.

I highly doubt Brown ages well he wins routes with physical strength. Rice and carter lasted as long as long as they did because they won routes with technique the same exact technique that Smith uses to win routes he actually has the better chance to have that long career not Brown.

Agreed....its all brute force and strength and he has always looked a little slow to me....I would take Smitty with the long career over Brown......

I think alot of you forget Smitty was here BEFORE AJ and had almost a thousand yards that year as a rookie....he will be just fine.....

With Hurts in his first full year starting with Reager and Watkins as the other receivers. Smith will be fine indeed. Also with this new offense that doesn't rely on just the WR winning routes one on one

Indeed...and with this Lemon kid, I watched his tape and the dude literally catches everything his way...he kinda reminds me of Maclin....I am actually excited to see what this new offense is going to do this year...

If you are referring to AJ, I don’t think he gives AF about another trade (Garrett to LA) overshadow his move. I think he probably only cares that he got his wish and is out of Philly.

I’d argue he never overcame his mental health issues.

The only thing I will miss is his physicality. Guy is big, strong and smooth. Short slants, which we eventually quit calling...he was unstoppable. Otherwise, I think his career is towards the end.

Super Bowl LXI … Eagles vs Patriots

Mitchell holds Brown to 2 catches 17 yards 0 TDs

DeVonta goes off for 9 catches, 157 yds, 2 TDs

Eagles win 38-17

Brown starts his next descent

No one cares any more that we traded him

He was once suicidal. Don’t minimize it.

Hopefully the 2028 draft is as strong as the 2027 class is rumored to be.

Could use the 2028 to trade up in 2027.

And with A.J. being a Diva on the other end complaining about not getting the ball.

I look at it this way, we traded a 1st and 3rd for AJ... It's like the Eagles went out and bought a mattress f'd on it for 4 years and then took it back to the store for a full refund.
