Yesterday at 06:26 PM1 day Finally the REAL story of the AJ - Jalen rift is revealed! From a recent r/eagles reddit post:Him and Haason Reddick were f***ing the same massage therapist. Jalen found out and kept quiet because he wanted to stay out of it. Bry (Jalen's wife) brought it to AJ's then GF, Kelsey. Bry said they should break up. AJ and Kelsey went off on her. Jalen tried to play mediator. And that ended the friendship. TL;DR: this is all over a woman that Reddick and Brown were f***ing.https://www.reddit.com/r/eagles/comments/1tus97j/aj_brown_speaks_on_his_relationship_with_jalen/ Nothing to do with their play on the field, as much as WASHERS would like to push that fake news!!!

Yesterday at 06:42 PM1 day If that rumor is true, then AJ being mad at Hurts is petty and silly. I can't blame a guy for not wanting to insert himself into that drama. AJ should've just talked to Reddick and handled it however they chose to. What's also interesting if this is actually true, is it would mean that AJ was messing around on his own gf at the time (who is now his wife), so that's even more incentive for Hurts to ignore the situation. Either way, stuff like this is why I'm just glad he's gone. AJ must've really looked up to Vrabel because that kinda stuff is what he was doing with Russini.

I trust Devonta and Goedert to hold it down with the new guys. We will still have a strong running team with Saquon, Bigsby and Jalen. Howie clearly projected this move drafted Lemon in the 1st round. Our WR room right now is full of guys. Does that mean they will be as talented as AJ, no but we just need guys to do their jobs. Yes AJ was very talented and important to our team. We will evolve and grow from this. I'm not going to get in to the lockeroom rumors, gossip or drama because honestly it's over now. We will start fresh next season and again move forward. It does look like this didn't become TO 2.0 only because Hurts isn't McNabb. I love McNabb, but Hurts is a way better leader. Some people really don't realize how important it is that your QB is capable of dealing with drama, always being a professional.

The made up girl hasn’t accused either of them or asked for anything. I hate to say it, but this massage girl BS is so played out. If there was any truth to it, that gurl would have outed AJ long before he got married to get her pay day. Sad, but true.

AJ Brown will be an Eagle in 2026. 2027 may be a different story.Well looks like you got some bad info.

Blaming Jalen for AJ screwing up is ridiculous. Listening to those dopes on WIP have been blaming Jalen and his play for months. They all have been defending Brown and all of his antics. That idiot Giglio went as far as to say that Howie’s getting this first so he can draft the next quarterback. So now that none of that will turn out to be true will nyone on that station stand up and apologize? Nope.

He’s an ageing WR who wanted out. A WR who caused drama off the field, clearly lacked effort at times on the field and it seems had major issues privately with Jalen. Getting a first round pick for 2028 is good as it gives us the opportunity to further evaluate Jalen. I think he’ll play better with AJ gone and that move will ultimately help him. But there’s no doubt he needs to now step up because a 2028 first gives Howie plenty of time to further evaluate. I think in some ways it’s given Jalen more rope. But in others it’s a move that could allow Howie to go get a top QB in 2028.

There were already rumors earlier in the offseason about this. And you are right ... the timing of that 1st we got from NE could very well be perfect as it gives us 2 years to engage in that evaluation process to know if we need a new QB in 2028. Coincidentally 2027 just so happens to be the final year with any guaranteed money in his current contract. If we were to cut ties with him after 2027 it would result in only a $24.3M dead money hit to the cap (and that is without using a pre June 1 designation) and yield $23.2M in cap savings. Getting the massive QB contract off the books is always huge for being able to field a strong roster around a younger QB playing on a (relatively) cheaper rookie contract.

Potentially a lot of players will not be Eagles by then and that includes Johnson, Dickerson, and Barkley.

If we move on from Jalen after the 2027 season, the dead money total is ~$94.1 million. He would have been paid $209.8mm in cash through the end of 2027, and his cap charges would have been $115.7 million.

Especially on offense there’s going to be a lot of change you’d have to think.

But equally it could be used to rebuild the OL or any number of options really. I guess that flexibility is just really big.

They have a young defense that will need to get paid, but why have an older offense that likely needs to be upgraded. 2 first in 28 allows them to potentially add two future starters for that aging offense.
30 minutes ago30 min People are really saying we can now evaluate Hurts more fully? That MFer has won a Super Bowl, been Super Bowl MVP, and outplayed Pat Mahomes in the other SB he played in. He has never missed the playoffs, he can win in multiple ways, and he's all business. WTF more do you people want?

I’m not sure I agree with them on that right now. But retool and add young talent to this offense and sure in a year or so they can absolutely be right back amongst it.15 minutes ago, kiwinavega said:People are really saying we can now evaluate Hurts more fully? WTF more do you people want?A good passing game? A consistent passing game? It’s what the Eagles want they just brought in an OC who in from the McVay, Shanahan tree so they recognise the passing offense hasn’t been good enough and change is needed.
7 minutes ago7 min Behave yourself... perfect doesn't exist. He's had a different OC every year, with very little consistency, and still been a champion and a winner. If Jalen isn't good enough for you by this point, if you still need to see more from him, if he needs to prove himself more to you, I have no idea what to say to you. Maybe we should give Andy Dalton a shot
